For some reason, Pryce's Dewgong did not know a single Water-type move. What a waste of its Water-and-Ice dual typing. But for Electivire, which was setting up Rain, that was good news.

More than half the field was swiftly covered by dark clouds that slowly spread outward from the center. Looking up from below, they resembled a spiral.

Pryce's position was practically perfect. He happened to be at the edge of the rain clouds, so regardless of which way the wind blew, the rain would not reach him.

Seeing the rain clouds overhead, Pryce was surprised for two seconds. He knew exactly how difficult it was for a non-Water-type Pokémon to learn this move. Not bad. This Electivire had something to it!

Having moved second and lost a round, Pryce was not about to hold back. Since Heiduo had voluntarily brought out Rain, he could make use of it too!

Rain was not only useful for Water-type moves!

The elegant Dewgong opened its large mouth, and a freezing gale swept forth. Yet it did not blow toward Electivire—it blew toward the rain clouds that had just begun to release rain!
