Blastoise was a large, bipedal turtle Pokémon. Its entire body was sapphire blue, while its belly and lower jaw were creamy white. It carried a huge, heavy shell on its back, edged in white, with evenly arranged brown hexagonal and trapezoidal plates within.

What drew the most attention, however, was its pair of enormous cannons. Anyone unfamiliar with it might have thought they were some cutting-edge new technology.

"Interesting..." Heiduo rarely encountered a Starter Trio with such impressive strength. His competitive spirit was stirred, and he reached for Beedrill's Poké Ball.

But Beedrill shook the ball slightly in refusal.

It buzzed from inside the ball, explaining something.

After listening, Heiduo said with slight helplessness, "You really know how to look after your juniors."

That good-natured fellow had actually given up its chance to battle so that Sceptile and the others could get more accustomed to things.

Heiduo ignored the dissatisfied urging from the surrounding audience. If those people got any louder, Officer Jenny would invite them in for tea before kicking them out of Silver Town. There was no need to pay them any attention.

"Lucario." Heiduo raised a hand and threw out a Poké Ball. He could tell that Lucario wanted to fight even more than Sceptile did. What a purebred violence addict.

Bang!

An excited Lucario landed on the ground.

The audience let out cries of surprise similar to those from Zone C. Clearly, many people did not recognize Lucario.
