His face was no longer as dirty as before, and aside from grass clippings, his clothes had no dust or mud stains on them. Still, the sweat pouring down his face showed just how hard he had been working.
Heiduo nodded. It was good that they were living well. He had been afraid that, after he left, the estate servants might bully them.
