"Phew! Now it's my turn to thank you two. Thanks~" Having weathered the ordeal, Blue let out a breath and smiled. "Thanks to you, I finally crossed that last psychological barrier!"
Karen's expression was incomparably ugly. Having turned into the newest hot-tempered big sister, she gritted her teeth and said, "What do you mean?"
"Do you know why I disappeared after becoming one of the Kanto Elite Four and handed everything over to Silver?" Blue muttered to herself. Though she faced Karen and Will, it felt as though she were speaking to herself. "Because there was something I absolutely had to do! Something I had to overcome on my own!"
Her incomprehensible words only enraged Karen further. "I'm asking what the hell you mean?!"
Yet Blue still ignored Karen. She raised two fingers and declared to herself in a voice that rang like thunder!
"I finally overcame that unbearable past! I overcame my weakness and fear!"
Then, she took out three Poké Balls and raised them high. "Let me show you my resolve!"
"Karen, this is bad! What is she trying to do?!" Will was somewhat flustered, sensing that things had gone beyond their expectations.
Karen clenched her teeth and growled, "I don't believe it! Ho-Oh! Encore!"
Ho-Oh in the sky prepared to dive at Blue once more!
But just as Ho-Oh was about to reach Blue, the three Poké Balls in her hand suddenly opened!
