As everyone knew,
Although Officer Jenny represented justice, she usually worked at the grassroots level, liked patrolling the city, legally speeding around in police cars, and personally protecting citizens' lawful rights and interests.
Yet there were very few Jennys willing to become police chiefs and spend all day sitting in an office, listening to reports from their subordinates about the city's situation.
Heiduo had not expected to meet one at the Millennium Town police station.

A police officer led Heiduo to the chief's office, knocked on the door, then turned and left, looking extremely busy.
Jenny Yang was the full name of Millennium Town's Officer Jenny.
Officer Jenny, who had been sitting behind her desk reading some documents, looked up. Upon seeing Heiduo, she froze for a moment, then seemed to recall something. She stood and gave him a salute.
"Welcome to Millennium Town, Sir Heiduo. We've been expecting you!"
Her rather solemn salute left Heiduo unsure how to respond. Fortunately, Officer Jenny was merely saluting out of habit, not trying to intimidate him. After saluting, she extended her hand.
"Hello, Officer Jenny. I hope you'll look after me in the future."
Feeling as though he had been pardoned, Heiduo lightly shook Jenny's hand.
"The same goes for you, Sir Heiduo. Since you've chosen Millennium Town, I hope you can treat this place as your home. Millennium Town will also reward you in turn."
Once the pleasantries were over,
came the tedious process of signing and stamping documents.
For safety reasons, the Gym located on Millennium Town's outskirts had many dangerous facilities that required Heiduo to personally assume responsibility for. The police could not monitor the Gym the way they monitored the city; at most, they could install some cameras around its perimeter.
