"--Just kidding."
Heiduo smiled at the three of them.
The three, each with different thoughts running through their minds, immediately relaxed.
"I actually have this too. So do they. I know exactly how it feels."
Heiduo pointed at Individual Three and Mewtwo, who were leaning together behind him and seemed to be talking about something. Both had human genes in their bodies to some extent—one had his, while the other had Blaine's.
Although Blaine had burned the Mewtwo genes in his own body away with Sacred Fire, that did not mean Mewtwo had lost Blaine's genes.
That was probably why, during the Kalos arc, Mewtwo and Blaine had been so in sync that Mewtwo could undergo Mega Evolution.
"Know exactly how it feels?"
Red opened his mouth, looking slightly confused. He did not understand how this had anything to do with him.
Heiduo smiled. "It's simple. From a genetic standpoint, Deoxys—Individual Two—could be considered your... clone? Younger brother? Son? Any of those would work."
The moment those three terms came out—
Red was instantly dumbfounded, while Green first frowned, then fell into deep thought.
Blue slapped Heiduo on the shoulder. "Be serious. Stop joking around."
"I'm not joking." Heiduo pinched Blue's soft cheek, then spoke again through her embarrassed, angry little punches. "I told you before—Deoxys are DNA Pokémon. Absorbing DNA is an innate ability of theirs."
By this point, Red and the others had caught on.
After all, no one present was stupid.
"That's right. This Deoxys absorbed your DNA, so in a sense, it formed a connection with you."
Heiduo snapped his fingers. The connection was rather unreasonable, really. Red had not absorbed any Deoxys DNA, so no matter how much of Red's blood Individual Two drank, it should not have had anything to do with Red himself.
