The infirmary.
This was the largest place in the entire Gym aside from the battlefields.
It had been made this large because some challengers might not be able to get their Pokémon to a Pokémon Center in time, some Pokémon were simply too large, and special emergencies could arise.
But since there usually were not many patients, one old doctor was enough.
Though there were now two more interns.
Perfect for using as free labor.
"Every time I see it, I'm amazed. Are you really not a Pokémon Breeder?"
On a spotless little bed, Du Wu was massaging Oshawott, whose exhaustion had narrowed its eyes, relaxing its muscles while staring intently at Heiduo beside her.
There was another bed before him, with a Teddiursa already fast asleep upon it.
Heiduo's hands continuously pressed against Teddiursa's body, sometimes heavy, sometimes light.
"Of course not. I haven't even taken the certification exam."
Heiduo had once planned to get certified because it could make money. Back then, he had been quite short on cash.
But then people had inexplicably started coming to his door to give him money, and Heiduo had never lacked money again.
Getting a Pokémon Breeder's certificate naturally came to nothing.
"I think you'd definitely pass if you took it now."
Rika walked over carrying a Chimchar with a bandaged arm, laughing playfully.
Heiduo neither confirmed nor denied it. "I'll see if I happen to catch an exam sometime. By the way, have you gotten your certifications yet?"
Just like in his previous life, the Pokémon world was a world of certifications. Of course, certificates were more like proof and recognition, proving that someone possessed adequate ability. It was not as though anyone without one was worthless.
"We got our entry-level, intermediate, and Pokémon Caretaker certificates ages ago!"
Du Wu
