It was also Darkrai's hometown.
There had once been a villainous organization there known as the Dark Team. They used the Dark Crystal, passed down from ancient times, to create mysterious control machines that controlled Pokémon.
Darkrai had originally been the guardian of the Dark Crystal. Yet in the end, it had been controlled by the dark machine created from the Dark Crystal and used by others.
But when it finally regained consciousness, what it saw was the Light Crystal, purified by the red, yellow, and blue Crystals together.
As well as several humans in strange clothing, accompanied by Pokémon at their sides.
Beneath the overcast sky, the pitch-black Angel Tower finally saw daylight. The biting wind softened, and the sky became spotless, with only clusters of white clouds drifting by.
Everything had returned to peace.
At the same time, in the instant sunlight fell upon the Light Crystal and reflected a blinding white radiance.
