Richard just walked out of the hospital entrance when his phone suddenly rang.
He took out his phone, and it was a call from Professor Jennings.
As soon as he answered, the old professor's booming voice immediately came through: "Little Richard, didn't you mention before that you wanted to buy a small medical laboratory? I happen to know of one."
Richard's eyes lit up. Given Professor Jennings's status and position, a laboratory that caught his eye would undoubtedly be top-tier in its category, leaving aside its research strength and focusing solely on its research equipment.
He quickly asked: "That's great, Professor, which one is it?"
Professor Jennings did not state the name directly: "Let's make this clear first, Little Richard, the situation with this small medical laboratory is a bit complicated, and its acquisition cost might be a bit high for you."
Richard was slightly stunned. The acquisition cost was too high?
He tentatively said: "Professor, I've prepared thirty million US dollars here, I wonder if that's enough?"
"How much? Thirty million? Good grief, you brat sure know how to make money!" Professor Jennings's surprised voice came through the phone.
"Thirty million is definitely enough! I asked around for you before, the laboratory's owner is asking for twenty-five million, and if you find a sharp lawyer to negotiate, the price should drop even further."
Richard's spirits lifted, and he quickly asked: "Which laboratory is it anyway, Professor?"
"A private small medical laboratory called Federer, located in Los Angeles, and the ownership is in the hands of the current CEO of the Federer Group, Wal Federer."
Speaking of this, Professor Jennings suddenly became unhappy and cursed angrily.
"Little Federer is a prodigal son, completely wasting the wonderful foundation left behind by Old Federer!"
Richard understood now; this person should be an acquaintance of Professor Jennings, or even a junior.
Huh? Federer Group?
He quickly asked: "Is that the Federer Group that made a fortune selling Festor antidepressants?"
"Right." Professor Jennings's tone carried a hint of nostalgia: "Speaking of which, that Slow Festor that started their business was actually commissioned by Old Federer for me to develop."
"Really?!" Richard was extremely surprised, the old fellow had never mentioned this before!
"What really or not!" Professor Jennings shouted unhappily: "Are you brat doubting my abilities?"
"No, I wouldn't dare!" Richard quickly apologized.
Sigh~
The old professor sighed and continued.
"Little Federer lost miserably in Las Vegas a few days ago, even losing the working capital of the Federer Group inside. To plug the hole as soon as possible, he actually came up with the idea of selling the Federer medical laboratory!"
"The Federer Group started out relying on this laboratory in the first place! What a prodigal piece of work!"
Listening to the old professor's nagging and cursing, Richard's eyes grew brighter and brighter.
Hanging up the phone, Richard immediately dialed Carl Frank's number.
"Attorney Carl, contact a small medical laboratory called Federer immediately!"
"Federer Medical Laboratory?" Attorney Carl asked in confusion.
"Right, this laboratory is under the private name of the CEO of the Federer Group and is currently undergoing an urgent clearance sale!"
"Right, the owner of the laboratory lost big gambling in Alaska a few days ago and is urgently in need of capital turnover."
"According to the information I obtained, the current asking price is twenty-five million US dollars. Try to push the price down as much as possible when you negotiate!"
"For every million you drop, I'll give you thirty percent of it as a bonus."
"Leave it to me, Mr. Richard!" Attorney Carl's voice suddenly became extremely excited.
Hanging up, Richard raised his hand to check the time; it was already five o'clock in the afternoon.
He immediately walked to an empty corner and directly opened the Greenpoint Apartments portal.
Returning home, Richard threw his changed clothes into the washing machine, put on his Kamar-Taj battle mage attire, and teleported to the Kamar-Taj training plaza.
Mordo, who happened to be there, saw him, walked over happily, and gave him a hug: "Mage Richard! It is so good to see you safe and sound!"
After they finished hugging, Richard finally noticed Mordo's current appearance...
Pretty miserable!
His right arm was broken, wrapped in a bandage, and hanging around his neck. His upper garment was very loose, and the thick bandages around his waist and abdomen were clearly visible.
Richard asked with concern: "Mordo, how are your injuries?"
"Fine, won't die." Mordo grinned, actually joking around.
Seeing this, Richard understood and said: "It looks like the crises at the other two sanctums have been resolved as well."
Mordo nodded: "Compared to the New York Sanctum, the situations at the London and Hong Kong Sanctums were still alright."
"Right, the Sorcerer Supreme has also returned, you certainly don't know..."
Speaking of this, Mordo's expression was exceptionally excited, and his eyes glowed as he said: "This time it wasn't just an invasion by the Hell Dimension, but three dimensions attacking Earth simultaneously!"
"Three dimensions?!" Richard was greatly shocked.
"Right! Thanks to the Sorcerer Supreme!" Mordo said excitedly in a loud voice: "She single-handedly kept the Hell Lord Mephisto, the Dream Lord Nightmare, and the God of Dark Magic Chthon, those three dimensional lords, outside of Earth!"
Looking at Mordo's expression of infinite adoration, Richard understood completely.
Not even just Mordo, almost all the mages in Kamar-Taj adored The Ancient One.
"Has the Sorcerer Supreme returned?" Richard asked.
Mordo nodded, pointing to the main hall behind him: "She's back, currently inside talking with Kaecilius."
"Kaecilius?" Richard's eyes widened slightly.
"Mordo, go tend to your injuries, I have something to request of the Sorcerer Supreme."
Leaving behind those words, Richard walked swiftly toward the main hall.
Just as he turned into the main hall, he bumped right into a mage who was heading out.
Richard hurriedly steadied the person and apologized: "Sorry, are you alright?"
Kaecilius, who was nearly knocked over, looked at Richard in astonishment.
Who is this?!
Why is he so strong?!
After seeing this person's appearance, Richard could not help frowning slightly.
It was Kaecilius!
No! This guy's body had a problem!
The moment their physical contact occurred, the Mana inside Richard's body began to circulate spontaneously.
There was a trace of familiar energy fluctuation inside him!
"Mage Richard, please come in." The Ancient One's voice came from inside the main hall.
Seeing this, Richard apologized once more and walked quickly into the main hall.
Kaecilius rubbed his still-aching shoulder, looking darkly at Richard's back.
When did a fellow like this come to Kamar-Taj?
"Sorcerer Supreme, the mage who just went out was Mage Kaecilius, right?"
At The Ancient One's gesture, Richard sat down opposite her and asked eagerly.
"It is him, a quite outstanding mage." The Ancient One said with a smile.
Richard's expression turned serious: "Then have you sensed the abnormal energy fluctuation within his body?"
The Ancient One's smile remained unchanged as she nodded lightly: "It's Dormammu."
Richard dawned on the realization; no wonder this energy fluctuation felt so familiar, it turned out to be the big eyeball he met during his astral projection!
"You didn't warn Kaecilius that he has been targeted by Dormammu?" Richard asked strangely.
A smile hung on The Ancient One's face as she uttered an incomparably cold sentence.
