Richard raised an eyebrow and turned to ask, "Who?"

Hela's words made Richard think of Natasha's destiny on the original timeline, where she sacrificed herself in exchange for the Soul Stone.

If he were to deduce based on Hela's words, then Maria Hill would have been shot and killed by a Skrull disguised as Nick Fury on the original timeline...
