As Akatsuki captured Killer B, Naruto revived the former Hokage and his parents, and the arc ended with Shion arriving in Konoha and pulling Naruto home.

• Naruto defeated Shinno and Zero-Tails, then gave Sasuke the truth about the Uchiha massacre, prompting Sasuke to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan and set his own course.
• Naruto secretly passed Jiraiya intelligence about Akatsuki as Sasuke defeated Orochimaru and took evidence of Orochimaru’s dealings with Danzo.

Naruto helped end Pain’s attack on Konoha and reunited with his revived parents, then set out for Rōran to stop Mukade and the Masked Man from exploiting the Dragon Vein. The eruption sent Sara into the present, and Naruto agreed to escort her to the Land of Haze.

• Shion and Naruto spent time together at his home, where Hanabi arrived and Naruto later helped her through a sudden medical emergency before agreeing to teach her ninjutsu.
• Sasuke gained the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, while Naruto reunited with Shion and then helped Hanabi study Taiji and the Hyuga clan’s Gentle Fist.
• Naruto watched a movie with Hinata as Kazahana Koyuki and Haku secretly joined them, then learned from Haku that Akatsuki planned to attack Konoha the next day.
• Naruto warned Tsunade about the attack, and Konoha prepared to draw Akatsuki away from the village while Sasuke planned to kill Danzo.

• Obito revealed his Infinite Tsukuyomi plan, declared the Fourth Shinobi World War, and sent Naruto, Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, and Hanabi Hyuga into a Parallel World.
• Naruto and his companions investigated the Dragon Vein in the Parallel World, learned that Menma had died there, and returned to the real world as Minato Namikaze and the Five Kage reached the Rōran Ruins.
• Awen abducted Naruto into another dimension and attacked him, but Shion joined Naruto in the fight and helped him defeat Mōryō, who had possessed Awen.
• Naruto returned from the crimson dimension, drove Madara Uchiha away, and helped fight the White Zetsu army before Black Zetsu used Inscribed Tsukuyomi to send Naruto and Hanabi into the past.
• Naruto and Hanabi entered a multiversal nexus, where Hanabi resisted an Ōtsutsuki God’s control and used her power to restore Naruto and help them escape.
• Naruto and Hanabi discovered that Mōryō was devouring the Ōtsutsuki Gods and tried to return to the present, but a lightning bolt sent them into separate time nodes.
• Naruto woke imprisoned among the Uchiha Clan during the Warring States Era, where he met Nameless, a girl born to fight for the Uchiha.

Naruto and Hanabi returned from the past and joined the Allied Shinobi Forces in a war against Obito, Madara, and Black Zetsu, where Uchiha Hikari revealed her undercover role. After the war, the shinobi established the Sun-Moon Alliance, revived Kaguya, and learned that Hanabi had helped defeat Isshiki, while Naruto and Hikari set out to investigate the mystery of Yakumo Kurama.

• Naruto helped Uchiha Hikari break free from her clan’s prison, and she used her Yachihoko Dōjutsu to open a path through the Dragon Vein so he could return to Hanabi Hyuga.
• Naruto and Hanabi reunited in the Space-Time Tunnel and returned to the Rōran Ruins, where they warned the shinobi that Mōryō had survived and was devouring the Ōtsutsuki Gods.
• Naruto recognized Hikari as the Mangekyō Sharingan user aiding Obito and Madara, but during the war she revealed that she had gone undercover to capture Black Zetsu and rescue Obito.
