Primordial Era

Tianling was an Ancient Emperor’s daughter and a member of the Heavenly Mystic Ancient Clan. During the Primordial Era, she became the Dao companion of Human Emperor Suiren, Tan Lin’s former identity. Her father later perished while attempting to assault the Immortal Domain with an Ultimate Imperial Weapon, and the Heavenly Mystic Ancient Clan declined until only a handful of its members remained. 55 172

Tianling and Shen Yue, the princess of Divine Silkworm Ridge, were afflicted by Divine Soul Pool Water. Their primordial spirits became fused, unstable, and unable to return cleanly to their original bodies; the corruption left Tianling in prolonged agony and prevented her cultivation from advancing normally. 55 172 185

Gu Qingying’s Body

The fused souls entered Gu Qingying’s Immortal Platform and used her identity as the Spring Autumn Pavilion’s Diagram-Wielding Goddess. Tianling’s public appearances as “Goddess Gu” therefore concealed both her true identity and the presence of Shen Yue within the same body. 55 121

When Tan Lin reincarnated, Tianling recognized him in Snow Valley and arranged for the Xiang Family to care for him. She also created a Divine Silkworm Silk robe for the infant Tan Lin, ensuring that it would adapt to his body and protect him. 63

Reunion with Tan Lin

Tianling openly intervened at Scarlet Glow River when the Feathered Immortal Dynasty threatened the Xiang Family, explaining that Tan Lin was her nephew. Her reunion with him revealed that she remembered far more of their shared past than he did, while Tan Lin remained wary of her claims and her use of the familial title “Aunt.” 81 82

Tan Lin eventually told her that although he was Suiren’s reincarnation, he was not entirely the Human Emperor of her memories. The admission devastates Tianling, who had endured ages of isolation while waiting for his return. 123
