After Li Buddha attained Emperor Enlightenment, Li Ming entered his Fifth Lifetime and feigned death, leaving Undying Mountain surrounded by Dark Supremes seeking his origins.

• Li Ming reunited with Snow Lotus Fairy and Xiao Yao, rescued Primordial Emperor Ancient Star from escaped Sacred Spirits, and confronted the Buddhist Sect over its attempt to convert his descendant Li Ling.
• Li Ming helped Boundless Heavenly Venerable become the Eternal Blue Gold Cauldron’s Weapon Deity, then intervened when Primordial Imperial Clans attacked the Boundless Sacred Land and destroyed their Extreme Dao Weapons.
• Li Ming entered Purple Mountain, overcame the Undying Heavenly Emperor’s imprint, and met the Undying Heavenly Empress in the Phoenix Nest.

• Dark Supremes converged on Undying Mountain to seize Li Ming’s Chaotic Body Origin, but the Heavenly Demonic Saber killed Light Emperor as more Supremes prepared to attack.

Li Ming defeated the Dark Supremes, seized control of multiple Forbidden Zones, and stopped the Undying Daoist and the Immortal Domain Heavenly Insect from destroying the world. He built a haven for cultivation and returned to Earth, where a new Dao-Proving Tribulation began and an old acquaintance appeared.

• Li Ming feigned death to lure the Lord of Taichu, killed him, and obtained the Nine Nether Secret Art.
• Li Ming forged the Myriad Souls Banner and claimed the Ancient Mine of Beginnings, the Heaven Forbidden Zone, the Divine Ruins, and the Underworld.
• Li Ming revived Ruins' Daughter and helped the Undying Heavenly Empress achieve Emperor Enlightenment by merging with the Heavenly Heart Imprint.
• The Undying Daoist used the Heaven-Piercing Jianmu and Immortal Domain Rift to trap and refine Dark Supremes, but a Heavenly Insect from the Immortal Domain emerged and began devouring them.
• Li Ming challenged the Heavenly Insect and, with a young man from the Bronze Lamp, burned it and the Corpse Mountain Blood Sea Formation to ash.
• Li Ming erased the Weird creature controlling the Undying Daoist and removed an eerie seed from the Heavenly Emperor’s Son, keeping him as bait for the Undying Heavenly Emperor.
• The Six-Eared Macaque attained Emperor Enlightenment, while Li Ming moved Undying Mountain near the universe’s center and opened a training ground.

Li Ming survived another dark turmoil and continued guiding emperors through their transformations, while the Divine Silkworm Ancient Emperor pursued successive lifetimes. The stretch ended with the Yama Emperor and Underworld Emperor rising to rule after the Divine Silkworm Ancient Emperor vanished into a new transformation.

• Netherworld Venerable achieved Emperor Enlightenment, and Duan De reunited with Li Ming and recovered memories of his past lifetimes.
• God Venerable became an emperor, challenged Li Ming, and later allied the God Race with the Immortal Golden Body Lineage.
• Li Ming defeated the Spirit Emperor, then helped the Boundless Heavenly Venerable escape the Feathered Immortal Cauldron and attain Emperor Enlightenment anew.
• Duan De began another transformation in Kunlun Mountain, while Li Ming passed through his Sixth Lifetime and returned to defeat the Dark Supremes who launched a dark turmoil.
• Li Ming guided the Jade Emperor through the Sacred Spirit Transformation Method, and the Divine Silkworm later became an emperor after avenging his clan.

Li Fan and later generations of Emperors pursued immortality as the Demon Venerable returned from the Road to Immortality and guided those seeking new paths. The arc ended with the Skeleton Emperor entering the Strange World while Li Lian'er's Grand Dao Imprint began to collapse.

• Li Fan became a Chaotic Body and attained Emperor Enlightenment alongside Xue Yueqing, while Six Ears achieved Alternative Enlightenment.
• The Demon Venerable emerged from the Heaven-Burying Coffin, entered the Immortal Domain, defeated the Undying Heavenly Emperor, and returned with the Kunlun Immortal Bell.
• Emperor Huang attained Emperor Enlightenment after seeking Li Ming's guidance, and Yuan Gu later destroyed the Sacred Spirit Forbidden Zone.
• Li Ming opened a passage to the Strange World for the Light Empress and later helped the Lunar Saint Emperor return to life and pursue Sacred Spirit transformation.
• The Black Tortoise Ancient Emperor entered the Strange World through Li Ming's formation, which replenished the world's essence.
