Invincible Across the Land

The divine mountain towered overhead. No grass or trees grew on it, yet it brimmed with life. Immortal Qi swirled around it, luan birds danced, and a sweet fragrance slowly spread.

"An Ancient Medicine King! A sacred medicine! There might even be an Immortal Elixir!"

People cried out. They could smell the medicinal fragrance from this far away; it had to come from a precious relic of the ancient era.

The crowd stirred, and many surged forward, drawn by the rich scent.

They could envy that figure all they liked, but they would never become Jiang Yun. If they managed to pick a Divine Medicine, though, it would be theirs.

But the great figures standing in the sky had yet to make a move, so few others dared act rashly.

The ancient stone gates stood eighty feet high and were sealed so tightly that not a crack could be seen. Everyone frowned, expecting them to be difficult to open.

The emperor of the Great Xia Dynasty stepped out of the crowd and walked forward. When he reached the gates, he pushed hard. A thunderous noise rang out.

Rumble!

One stone gate shifted slightly, revealing a gap.

Everyone was surprised. They had assumed the place was sealed and would take tremendous effort to open, but it had been so easy.

The medicinal fragrance grew stronger as it flowed out from behind the gate. Many were entranced, their mouths watering as though the scent alone could carry them up to the Immortal Realm.

Jiang Yun knew the scent well. He had planted quite a few Ancient Medicine Kings in his Source World.

Whoosh!

Jiang Yun and a dozen other top figures turned into streaks of divine light and dove from the sky almost at once, forming a line before the cave abode.
