On the battlefield of Marineford.

"Is this thing really as useful as that guy said?" Buggy eyed the map in his hand suspiciously. "If he dares trick me, I won't let him off."

Not long after Buggy appeared on the broadcast, Su Lin made a deal with him using a map that could automatically detect gold.

Buggy was to direct the broadcast toward Straw Hat Kid Luffy for the entire battle, and whenever Luffy appeared afterward, turn the camera to him immediately.

After handing the surveillance Den Den Mushi to his subordinates to handle, Buggy had been studying the map.

"Even someone like that wants to make a deal with Lord Buggy."

"As expected of Lord Buggy!"

Scalding steam wreathed Straw Hat Kid in mist. Ace, the admirals, and the others closest to Straw Hat Kid could feel the temperature constantly rising.

Gradually, Marine soldiers began backing away, unable to endure the scorching heat.

"So hot, hot, hot, hot!"

Mr. 3 woke from the heat and ran in another direction.

"Ice Ball!"

Aokiji attacked first.

Ace melted it with flames.

"Luffy, what's wrong?!" Ace called out anxiously.

"Ahahaha, Ace, don't worry." Luffy clutched his head and laughed loudly.

That cheerful voice sounded utterly out of place on this battlefield.

Just as Akainu was about to go back and provide support,

Whitebeard unleashed combat power beyond anything he had shown before. He instantly appeared beside Akainu and shattered him, leaving only magma scattered across the ground.

The shattered Akainu reappeared nearby.

"Damn you, Whitebeard." A trace of blood ran from Akainu's mouth.

"Did his Devil Fruit Awakening happen?!" Whitebeard ignored Akainu and focused his gaze on Luffy.

On the Red Hair Pirates' ship, Red-Haired Shanks, who was following Kaido toward Marineford, spat out his drink at the sight. Even Lucky Roux's meat fell to the ground.

"Chief, Luffy, he..."

"He awakened!" Red-Haired Shanks gripped the screen excitedly with his right hand. "Hurry! We need to get to Marineford even faster!"

"Ahahaha!"

"Ice Age!"

Ice spread beneath Aokiji's feet, freezing Luffy's body.

Kizaru teleported beside Luffy and kicked with light blazing from his foot. It was the most serious kick Kizaru had delivered since joining the battle.

It was blocked by an arm.

Akainu Sakazuki began pulling away from Whitebeard while hurling a fist condensed from magma at Ace.

Luffy's fist grew larger in the wind and grabbed Ace.

"Gum-Gum Jump!"

Luffy's legs stretched to an exaggerated length, like something out of a comic, before he leaped into the air. At that moment, Kizaru arrived above him.

"Don't think you can escape, Straw Hat Kid."

Beams of light, flames, and ice attacked from different angles—above, below, and the side.

"Gum-Gum Giant!"

Midair, Straw Hat transformed into a giant even larger than the giants, before everyone's stunned eyes.

"Gum-Gum Shield!"

The attacks falling on Straw Hat were like raindrops.

"Hey, hey, this is no joke." Aokiji's expression turned grave.

Seeing that his attacks were ineffective, Kizaru turned into a ray of light and returned to Sengoku's side. "Mr. Sengoku, this is going to be difficult~."

From midair, Luffy saw Akainu's vicious expression as he prepared to unleash a powerful move.

"Akainu!"

A fist turned iron-black and shot toward Akainu.

"Sakazuki, dodge!" Seeing this, Sengoku leaped into the air. His body grew even larger as he struck at Luffy. "Stop right there, Straw Hat!"

"Ice Block: Pheasant Beak." Frigid air suddenly surged from Aokiji's right arm. A giant ice bird carrying an extremely low temperature crashed toward Luffy's chest.

Seeing this, giant Luffy kicked downward with both feet. The still-flying ice bird was crushed to pieces beneath his enormous feet, along with the surrounding ground.

But Aokiji froze Luffy's feet at the same time.

Though heat continuously poured from Luffy's body, frigid ice kept spreading over the giant's feet, and the battlefield was shrouded in a mist of steam.

Boom!

Everyone felt as though an earthquake had struck. Those nearby were even hurled one or two meters into the air.

The ground bulged into a volcano, and a torrent of lava transformed into a Dragon-like tornado rushing toward Luffy's fist.

For a moment, magma spread wildly through the sky in vast sheets.

Panicked Marines and Pirates dodged aside, afraid of being caught up in it.

Then golden light flashed, and for a moment it seemed as though two suns had appeared in the sky.

The golden light around Kizaru's foot detached.

A torrent of light followed.

In an instant, it pierced through Luffy's shoulder.

Sengoku's golden fist, carrying Haki and unmatched force, struck Luffy in the back.

The battered giant Luffy fell like Oars had before.

Yet before he fell, the other hand holding Ace reached Whitebeard and threw Ace down.

Luffy's goal had been to use the advantage of his giant form to send Ace out of the battlefield's center.

"Luffy!" Ace roared.

"Disappear, Straw Hat Kid!" Akainu had already judged that Luffy's current threat and potential exceeded those of Fire Fist Ace.

Straw Hat had to be executed here!
