Jiang Ming would merely use the timeline here to cultivate for a while and make his preparations before truly setting out to save Yaya. After all, Yaya was the Flower Powder Empress, and the Strange Ancestors wanted to erase every trace of her.
Unfortunately for them, Yaya was his disciple. That alone meant one thing: the Strange Ancestors could never make everyone forget her existence.
A Heavenly Emperor would never truly perish as long as another powerhouse still remembered them. They would always survive at some point in time, or even in some tributary of the River of Time, and rise again.
Soon enough.
Ten years passed.
Over those ten years, Yaya learned many things. She was now a fifteen-year-old girl, had experienced the betrayal of friendship, and understood what fair-weather sisters were.
What surprised Jiang Ming, however, was that not one of the young talents in the Taisu Daoist Temple caught Yaya's eye. In other words, she had no way to experience the blows dealt by love.
That was not quite right either. Jiang Ming had actually noticed Yaya's little thoughts. This rebellious disciple who coveted her master had firm self-control and plenty of potential. At only fifteen, she was already showing the first signs.
That simply would not do.
Still, after ten years, Yaya had already broken through to the True Immortal realm. Her talent was simply too outstanding. With rewards for completing tasks as well, her progress was naturally even faster.
As for Jiang Ming, he had spent those ten years capturing fragments of the Great Dao throughout heaven and earth, chiefly those belonging to all the Immortal Emperors in Above the Firmament.
To Jiang Ming, these were all minor accumulations.
