Background

Jiang Ming’s memories encompass three lives: an original life on Earth, a life in the world of Chinese Paladin 1, and his present life in Shrouding the Heavens. In his second life, he became a demon after tragedy and eventually reached the Earth Immortal realm; those memories fully awakened only when he nearly died in his current life. 1 3

At thirteen, Jiang Ming joined Smoke Glow Grotto-Heaven after his cultivation talent was discovered. He later married Gu Lingzhi, the Smoke Glow Fairy, and they had a daughter, Jiang Tingting. 1

Jiang Ming and Lingzhi entered the Primordial Ruins to obtain the Three Yin Cold Lotus for Tingting’s cultivation foundation. The Li Family secretly marked the couple and used a rare drug to provoke exotic beasts; during the resulting beast riot, Jiang Ming shielded Lingzhi from the Lightning Birds, but she was annihilated by lightning. 1 2

The Heavenly Calamity Lone Star System activated after Lingzhi’s death and fused the Heavenly Tyrant Body into Jiang Ming.
