Background / History

Gu Yue confronted Na’er after Na’er separated from Fang Ming. As the two halves of the Silver Dragon King, she insisted that their mission took priority over human attachments: Na’er was to enter Shrek Academy and eventually control it, while Gu Yue would infiltrate the Spirit Pagoda. 12

When Na’er revealed that Tang Wulin carried the Golden Dragon King’s aura, Gu Yue immediately recognized the opportunity to restore her origin by obtaining his bloodline. In exchange for this information, she promised not to harm Fang Ming or Cang Xuan and agreed to remain beside Fang Ming after Na’er left. 12

Leng Yaozhu later evaluated Gu Yue at the Eastsea Spirit Pagoda, using Fang Ming as her benchmark. Gu Yue fought him as a level-38 Soul Elder but was poisoned through the water vapor generated by her own defensive barrier. After Fang Ming removed the poison, Leng Yaozhu accepted her as her second disciple. 14 15
