The Heavenly Court Convenes

While the Ancestor Witches in Pangu Hall were busy figuring out how to rip off Zhunti's arm, the Heavenly Court descended into chaos.

Here's what happened: Bai Xuan brought the news of Bo Huang following the Ancestor Witches to Pangu Hall to Di Jun. Upon learning his eldest son had gone to Pangu Hall with the Ancestor Witches, Di Jun was so furious his head nearly caught fire.

Tai Yi quickly said, "Big Brother, don't worry. Huang'er has the Chaos Bell I lent him for protection. The Chaos Bell hasn't been attacked, which proves he's safe for now."

Di Jun anxiously replied, "I know he's safe now. I'm afraid that once the Witch-Demon war breaks out, the Witch Clan will use Bo Huang to threaten us."

A scene flashed through Tai Yi's mind: an Ancestor Witch fighting him, using Bo Huang as a weapon and chasing him, his brother, and sister-in-law all over the place. He immediately shook his head. The scene was too terrifying to bear.

With that thought, Tai Yi quickly said, "Big Brother, Demon Master, Xi Huang, let's not waste any more time. Let's hurry and redeem Bo Huang. Otherwise, there's no point in fighting the Witch-Demon war."

Di Jun and Fu Xi nodded repeatedly. Meanwhile, Kunpeng had already arrived at the South Heaven Gate and turned back, saying, "If we don't leave now, the Witch Clan might start fighting with the Great Crown Prince first."

Not long after, Di Jun arrived at Mount Kunlun and sought out Tong Tian. He said, "Saint Tong Tian, my son is, after all, a disciple of the Intercepting Sect. How could you let the Witch Clan take him away like this?"

Tong Tian shook his head and said, "Don't rush. Have some tea first. I already knew about Bo Huang's situation."

Tai Yi was impatient and blurted out, "Who has the mood for tea right now? Please tell us what's going on!"

Tong Tian nodded and said, "It's simple. Bo Huang willingly went with those Ancestor Witches. When he left with them, he only sent me a telepathic message: 'I'm going to harm Zhunti.'"

Di Jun said, "He can't go harm Zhunti... It's too dangerous for him in the Witch Clan's territory. It's best to bring him back."

Tong Tian was speechless for a moment, thinking, Just the twelve Ancestor Witches? They can't even put together three brains among them. Won't Bo Huang play them like a fiddle? What are you in the Heavenly Court worried about? (Dijiang: Your brains aren't much better, Tong Tian, hmph.)

Not long after, Tong Tian, accompanying the Demon Race members, arrived outside Pangu Hall. Tong Tian loudly called out, "Dijiang, Tong Tian of the Intercepting Sect, along with the Heavenly Emperor of the Heavenly Court, has come to visit. Please come out and meet us."

Dijiang heard the voice from within Pangu Hall and said to Bo Huang, "Well, well, you've got some serious pull. Your family is here to pick you up."

Bo Huang smiled and said, "Don't worry. I promised. After I've shown you how to defeat Zhunti, you can slowly comprehend it on your own once I leave. I won't leave early."

Dijiang nodded and came out of Pangu Hall with Bo Huang. Di Jun said, "Dijiang, you're such a prominent figure. Kidnapping a junior? Isn't that a bit improper?"

Dijiang quickly retorted, "Don't slander a good crow. I didn't do anything to this kid. You can see for yourself; his body and Primordial Spirit are unharmed. Bo Huang is currently a honored guest of our Witch Clan."

Tai Yi didn't believe it. "Who are you trying to fool? Everyone knows your Witch Clan has always wanted to deal with our Demon Race. Honestly, are you trying to use my nephew as a hostage to prevent us from going to war with the Witch Clan?"

Gou Mang came out and said, "We absolutely have no such intentions. Look, under Crown Prince Bo Huang's guidance, I've even had a breakthrough. Our Witch Clan always repays kindness; we would never harm a benefactor."

Tai Yi looked bewildered. "Bo Huang, what the heck did you teach him? This shouldn't be happening. Our Golden Crows aren't wood-attributed. I could accept you teaching Zhu Rong, but what's this about teaching Gou Mang to break through?"

Gou Mang said, "You don't understand anything, Tai Yi. Bo Huang taught us the correct way to gain enlightenment while fighting Zhunti, and then I broke through."

Tong Tian secretly chuckled to himself, thinking, Junior Brother Zhunti, you've suffered. So you were imprisoned in Pangu Hall and beaten up. No wonder there's been one less shameless immortal extorting resources across the Great Desolation recently.

Hearing Gou Mang's words, Tai Yi was utterly speechless. He said to Bo Huang, "Fighting Zhunti requires specific postures? Why didn't you say so earlier?"

Bo Huang looked innocent. "Second Uncle, you didn't ask me." He then sent a telepathic message: "Don't worry, I've got this under control. Only Gou Mang and Ru Shou will have genuine breakthroughs. The other Ancestor Witches will be finished. The Ancestor Witches will be reduced to eleven then."

Tai Yi telepathically relayed Bo Huang's words. Di Jun said, "Dijiang, do you dare swear on Pangu Hall that the Witch Clan will not lay a hand on Bo Huang for a million years?"

Dijiang replied, "Why wouldn't I dare? Father God above, I, Dijiang, the Ancestor Witch, swear here today that for a million years, none of the Ancestor Witches will attack Bo Huang."

After speaking, he looked at Di Jun and said, "How about it? Can you leave with peace of mind now?"

Di Jun nodded and left with everyone. Dijiang returned to Pangu Hall once more and saw that Zhunti was already missing an arm.
