As night deepened, Gangzi returned to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan's grounds.
The grounds really weren't far from Heaven Dou City, but the two of them had still spent most of the day getting there.
Their current situation was rather peculiar. Gangzi lay draped over Scar's back, looking as though he was carsick.
After all, Scar wasn't a carriage, and Gangzi had been in such a hurry that he thought a carriage would be too slow. That was how he had ended up like this.
"Thank you." Gangzi was genuinely grateful. He had a strange feeling, as though his good brother Flender had returned to his side.
Apart from a brother with personal ties to him like Flender, all he ever saw in other people's eyes was disdain. Now that Flender had left him, Scar seemed to have filled that emotional void.
"It's only right." Scar gave an honest, simple smile. But when Yu Xiaogang turned away, he discreetly licked his lips again, his gaze growing heated as he looked at Gangzi.
Physical contact was inevitable when carrying someone on his back. Gangzi gave Scar a very peculiar sensation. He was clearly a man, yet he had a softness almost like a woman's.

But just as they reached the main gate, they encountered several people coming toward them.
At their head was a middle-aged man with a
