As Roy finished celebrating the birth of the new potion he had created with his own hands, Snape also finished the document he intended to send to the International Potion Association.
After writing his own name and Roy's in the creators' field, Snape looked up at the exuberant Roy with a complicated expression and asked the potion's true creator a crucial question.
"So, what do you intend to name this potion?"
"A name? I haven't decided yet. Since the potion is blue, how about calling it Baby Blue?"
At Roy's approach to naming, Snape's lips twitched slightly. He stared speechlessly at the thoroughly pleased Roy, gave a heavy snort, and tossed out a resigned remark.
"Suit yourself. You invented the potion, after all."
Hearing Snape's words, Roy generously patted his chest, brimming with pride, and told him,
"No, we did."
Snape did not respond to that. Instead, he chased Roy out of his office.
After shutting Roy outside once again, Snape looked at the untitled document on his desk. Lowering his eyes, he indulged Roy and wrote in the name Baby Blue.
With the development of the Voice-Changing Potion complete, it was time to prepare gifts for all the students at the school. Snape certainly would not help them with any of that work. In the few days before term began, Roy set up an enormous cauldron on the school grounds and, under the curious gazes of the students staying at school, began cooking up a genuine, honest-to-goodness communal stew.
Finally, after several days of hard work, Roy finished brewing the world's first batch of Voice-Changer Potion before the holiday ended. After dividing the fruits of his labor into small, clear glass bottles, he mailed out all the novelty potions he had developed over Christmas on the last day before
