Reasoning It Out! The Space Stone Is Mine

In the vast universe.

Sanctuary II drifted slowly onward.

Upon the throne inside the spacecraft.

Sat a gigantic Titan with a burly frame, purple skin, and vertical grooves on his chin.

He was Thanos, an Eternal exiled by his own people.

Below the throne stood his daughters.

Gamora, with her green skin.

Nebula, half flesh and half machine.

And his loyal dog, Ebony Maw.

Before them.

A massive screen played a recording.

In the footage, a Blue Star human wearing a black suit with a huge S emblem on his chest floated before the Chitauri mothership.

His eyes glowed a bright orange-red.

Nearly tangible beams shot from his eyes.

Destroying every Leviathan in their path.

Under the beams, the Chitauri mothership lasted less than a second before turning to dust and vanishing without a trace.

The footage played on a loop.

Thanos watched it over and over with a grim expression.

"My great master!"

Ebony Maw placed one hand over his chest, bowed respectfully, and said.

"It was this human who caused the plan to fail."

"He coveted the Mind Stone!"

"He must pay with his life to quell your anger, Master!"

As Thanos's loyal servant, he dutifully kissed Thanos's ass.

"Father!"

Nebula turned around, dropped to one knee, lowered her head, and spoke with equal respect.

"Please allow me to go to Earth, tear off his head, and bring back the Mind Stone as an offering to you!"

She was desperate to prove herself before Thanos.

To prove that she was his most capable daughter, and that she was stronger than Gamora!

Thanos looked expressionlessly at Nebula and Ebony Maw, remaining silent for a long while.

"My daughter, I have other arrangements for you..."

"The Mind Stone... can remain on Earth for now."

"When the time comes, I will retrieve it myself!"

After saying that, Thanos no longer paid them any attention.

He turned his gaze back to the screen.

It seemed another powerful being had emerged on Blue Star.

The Ancient One, the Sorcerer Supreme! Odin, King of the Gods!

They were the main reason he had not gone to the Nine Realms personally.

Those two ancient beings were not easy to deal with...

He had long foreseen Loki's failure.

Odin's adopted son could only play some laughable little tricks.

The Chitauri invasion had merely been a pawn for his test.

Thanos had never held even a shred of hope for their childish plan.

Thanos had his own plan. Judging by its current progress, aside from the appearance of that powerful human, there had not been many unexpected changes.

He decided to obtain the other Stones first.

As for Blue Star, once the time was right, he would make the trip himself...

On Blue Star, S.H.I.E.L.D. and the U.S. Government were dealing with the aftermath.

Major television stations reported on the ruins at the scene.

Discussion of the Avengers and Superman soared to the heavens.

The arrival of aliens made countless citizens feel as if they were in a dream.

Authoritative media outlets criticized the destruction caused by the Avengers.

Yet citizens everywhere were thanking the Avengers.

Two completely opposing voices spread across the globe.

Meanwhile, the Avengers at the center of the news.

Including Lin Feng, were resting inside Stark Tower.

Before the floor-to-ceiling windows, Thor stood in front of Lin Feng, looking battered and dusty.

"Black-haired kid, I'll say this one more time!"

He gripped Thor's Hammer, his face dark.

"The Space Stone belongs to Asgard! You have no right to claim it for yourself!"

"I'll say it again. Hand it over!"

Lin Feng lounged lazily against the sofa and gave Thor a look full of disdain.

Three Stones rested quietly on his wrist guard.

The yellow Mind Stone, the blue Space Stone, and the red Special Kryptonite.

After pulling the Tesseract out, he had crushed the cube, removed the Space Stone, and embedded it into his wrist guard.

Like the Mind Stone, the Space Stone's energy was slowly strengthening Lin Feng's abilities.

How could Lin Feng possibly hand it over to Thor?

You want to pull back meat that's already in my mouth?

"You say it belongs to Asgard. Do you have any proof?"

"You!"

The veins bulged on Thor's hand as he gripped Thor's Hammer.

He wanted to teach that rogue black-haired kid a harsh lesson.

This was the second time he had asked Lin Feng for the Space Stone.

The first time, Lin Feng had kicked him straight out of the tower.

The kick had been so fast that Thor had not even caught it.

Though he did not want to admit it, he could not beat Lin Feng...

Lin Feng did not care what Odin's idiotic eldest son thought.

If Thor refused to see reason, Lin Feng would not mind giving him another kick.

"Hey! Hey! Hey!"

Seeing the two getting increasingly heated, Iron Man Tony stepped forward to save his Stark Tower.

He squeezed between them and held out both hands, separating them by some distance.

"Calm down, you two!"

"You just finished a fight. Aren't you tired?"

"Here, let me say something fair!"

Tony spoke as if no one else mattered, then pointed at Thor.

"Lin Feng is stronger than you. I think no one can deny that!"

That first sentence made Thor's gaze turn cold.

He felt that this Iron Man was up to no good.

"Oh, buddy, don't look at me like that!"

Tony was utterly fearless as he looked around the room.

"Isn't what I said the truth?"

Captain America, Natasha, Hawkeye, and even Hulk all nodded unconsciously.

Lin Feng had flown into space and blown up the Chitauri mothership.

And what had Thor done on Blue Star? He had only killed a few Chitauri, then gotten stabbed by his own brother.

Who was stronger and who was weaker was indeed beyond dispute.

Everyone's reaction satisfied Tony immensely.

He turned and spread his hands at Thor.

"See? Everyone thinks so!"

"Now let's sort out this disaster!"

"It was brought about by Asgard's second prince, your brother!"

"Countless people died because of your brother. He may even have exposed Blue Star's coordinates, right?"

"He's adopted!" Thor retorted weakly, his face flushing red.

The moment the words left his mouth, he regretted them and instinctively glanced to the side.

Loki stood there in handcuffs, stabbing him with a look of utter contempt.

"Fine, fine, but he is indeed your brother. You can't deny that!"

Thor nodded with a dark expression.

Tony continued, "This disaster was caused by your brother!"

"And Lin Feng was the one who ended it!"

"I don't think anyone can deny that, right?"

Everyone nodded again without thinking.

Tony clapped his hands.

"Then isn't that clear?"

"As the main figure who ended this disaster, Lin Feng."

"He has the right to decide what happens to this Stone, doesn't he?"

How sharp was Iron Man Tony's tongue?

When it came to talking, who present could outtalk him?

Besides, Tony was speaking the truth!

On one side were unfamiliar Asgardians, the very culprits who had started this disaster.

On the other was Lin Feng, his friend and savior.

Tony knew perfectly well whom he should support.

After hearing him out, everyone felt that it made perfect sense.

Only Thor's face had turned red from beginning to end.

"But the Space Stone has always belonged to Asgard..."

Thor's voice grew quieter and less convincing with every word.

Lin Feng was getting impatient with Thor's forced argument.

He stood up, his imposing presence fully unleashed.

"Then let me tell you, it doesn't belong to Asgard anymore!"

"Since it appeared on Blue Star, that means you failed to protect it!"

"Should I give it to you so you can lose it again?"

After saying that, Lin Feng sneered and added, "Besides, the Infinity Stones never had owners to begin with."

"You merely kept it for a while! And you say it belongs to Asgard?"

"Aren't you ashamed?!"

Lin Feng and Tony's successive barrage left Thor utterly crushed, unable to say a word.

For a moment, the entire room fell silent.

Seeing that Thor had stopped talking.

Loki jumped out from the side, his eyes full of mockery.

"Poor son of Odin! It's one thing that you can't beat a Blue Star human, but you don't even understand reason."
