Lin Jili watched with keen interest, but before long, her little brows furrowed.
"Hmm, Martina, it looks like you can't give her any special attributes..."
As a Cosmic Cube, Lin Jili could sense changes in energy.
She sensed that the AllSpark energy Martina was using to activate Dark was being absorbed. It wasn't activating Dark as it normally would a mechanical construct, turning her into a silicon-based lifeform.
A thought struck Lin Feng, and he looked at Lin Jili.
"You can tell?"
Lin Jili pursed her lips and thought for a moment.
"Yeah. The energy isn't activating her. She's absorbing it as a power source."
Then Lin Jili called out to Martina, "Martina, stop wasting your energy!"
It was completely pointless. Right now, Martina was more like a giant humanoid power bank charging Dark.
"Damn it!"
Martina was reluctant to give up, but she knew there was no point continuing. She slowly withdrew her energy.
Meanwhile, Dark still hadn't identified the energy's specific properties.
Dark had determined that she could use the Infinity Stones' energy. As for the energy Martina was feeding her directly, she didn't need an analysis to know she could use it.
So far, though, Dark had only calculated its conversion efficiency. It was even higher than the Infinity Stones'!
"Connecting to database. Uploading energy data..."
Dark's eyes shone brightly.
"Uploading data?" Martina frowned, and the flow of energy she had yet to fully withdraw suddenly surged.
The light in Dark's eyes flickered wildly.
"Error. Unknown error. Unable to connect to database. Unable to upload data..."
Dark seemed to crash. Her upload stopped dead, and she repeated the error twice.
Somehow, Martina had blocked Dark's channel for uploading data.
Martina withdrew her energy. The red glow across Dark's body gradually faded, and she returned to normal.
