Arc 11Wakanda and the Moon

Luke expanded the Trading Station and helped the Inhumans settle their place on the Moon, while Zola used Erik and the AllSpark to attack Wakanda before being defeated. The Tiga World opened a trade link with the Marvel World, and Luke offered lunar construction technology to the first five groups to reach the Inhumans’ city.

  • Luke returned to the Trading Station with Tony and Galacta, explained his plan to build a peaceful hub for interworld trade, and learned that Wakanda had joined the Station through its ties to the lost AllSpark.
  • Zola recruited Erik Killmonger by offering to help him claim Wakanda’s throne, and Erik challenged T’Chaka before the world’s leaders and returned to Wakanda for the royal contest.
  • Erik defeated T’Chaka and T’Challa, then learned from T’Chaka, Zuri, and N’Jobu that his father had died accidentally, and Erik abandoned his plans for war and refused to give Zola more Vibranium.
  • Zola captured Erik, impersonated him, and attacked Wakanda with mechanical forces and ships transformed by the AllSpark, and Okoye, Erik, T’Challa, Shuri, and their allies fought back as Shuri summoned the Avengers and Ultron Legion.
  • Tony and Megatron defeated Zola, recovered the AllSpark, and Megatron showed Luke the concealed Inhuman city on the Moon, and Black Bolt and Medusa then negotiated with Luke for protection and a place for the Inhumans.
  • Luke agreed to keep New Attilan on the Moon, offered to turn the city toward Earth, and arranged for the Inhumans to share their lunar base-building technology while preparing for future contact with the Kree.
  • Luke raised the R'lyeh Ruins and opened a trade portal for the Tiga World, then brought Director Sawai’s delegation to the Trading Station to exchange technology and discuss threats in space.

  • Luke redesigned the Interworld Teleportation Magic with an additional framework generator and used it to create a solid double door to the Trading Station.
  • Luke crossed through the door, found the Trading Station operating normally, and connected his phone to the Marvel World's network.
  • Luke called Tony, who asked Megatron to bring the AllSpark and flew to meet him.
  • Galacta joined Luke and talked with him about returning to work and preparing the Tiga World for interworld trade.
  • Luke planned to notify the Tiga World's leadership and establish an outpost by repairing the R'lyeh Ruins with help from the Dark Giants Corps.

Ch. 252Seeing Tony again

Luke reunited with Tony in Tiga World and explained his plan to establish a cross-world Trading Station so he could obtain technology through trade rather than force. Tony advised him to enforce rules with strength and agreed to explore the world and support the station.

  • Tony reached the Trading Station and teased Luke after Luke struggled to open his specially designed portal door.
  • Luke revealed that they were in a world without internet, and Tony realized it was not their world.
  • Tony praised Luke's cross-world portal magic, and Luke explained that he had modified a spell created by the Ancient One.
  • Luke told Tony and Galacta that he wanted to build a Trading Station to trade for technology instead of taking it by force.
  • Tony advised Luke to set rules for participating worlds and use his power to prevent conflicts from escalating into wars.
  • Tony offered to help by touring Tiga World and buying technology once Luke opened the Trading Station outpost.

Ch. 253Wakanda Revealed

Luke returned to Tony in the peaceful Tiga World, where they discussed visiting together with Pepper and Tony's future wedding. Tony then revealed that Wakanda had emerged publicly and was being nominated to join the Security Council, leading Luke to learn that the AllSpark was connected to the change.

  • Luke explained that the Tiga World had unified Earth, fewer conflicts, and a much lower crime rate than the Marvel World.
  • Luke offered to show Tony and Pepper around the Tiga World, and Tony said he planned to marry Pepper once his work settled down.
  • Tony told Luke that a major incident had changed the global landscape while Luke was away, and clarified that Galactus had not intervened because it involved events within an Earth nation.
  • Tony revealed that Wakanda was being nominated to join the Security Council and had joined the Trading Station.
  • Tony said Wakanda's new ties were connected to the lost AllSpark.

Ch. 254A little story about Zola

Zola investigated Wakanda after learning that Ulysses Klaue had sold vibranium, and he suspected the country was hiding both advanced resources and a network of agents. He arranged for Erik Killmonger to be brought to New York, where he identified himself as Erik’s employer.

  • After discovering Wakanda’s suspicious wealth and outdated intelligence records, Zola found many Wakandans abroad and concluded that they were agents.
  • Zola noticed that Erik Killmonger worked as a mercenary on dangerous battlefields and decided to contact him.
  • A mercenary company pulled Erik from the battlefield and escorted him to New York, where he realized his employer was interested in his Wakandan background.
  • Erik tried to escape his escorts but was stunned, hooded, tied up, and taken to a quiet room.
  • Zola revealed himself to Erik, cut his restraints with a knife, and confirmed that he had hired him.

Ch. 255A wandering stray dog

Zola confronted Erik about Wakanda, revealed how much he knew about its agents and vibranium, and exploited Erik’s doubts about his exile and his father’s death. He offered to help Erik return to Wakanda and claim the throne in exchange for vibranium.

  • Erik questioned why Zola had brought him in, and Zola showed him lists of Wakandan agents deployed around the world.
  • Erik warned Zola to stop investigating Wakanda, but Zola revealed that he knew about its vibranium and watched Erik’s reaction confirm it existed.
  • Zola displayed records of Erik’s life and taunted him about being exiled from Wakanda, stirring his doubts about his father’s death and his place in the kingdom.
  • Erik attacked Zola, who dodged the punch and pinned him to the floor while continuing to provoke him with footage of T'Challa.
  • Zola offered to help Erik return to Wakanda and claim its throne if Erik gave him vibranium.

Ch. 256Seizing power

Erik agreed to work with Zola, who promised to get him before Wakanda's king so he could challenge for the throne. Zola revealed Hydra evidence and footage of a mysterious figure who had crippled Hydra, leaving Erik unaware of the man's identity.

  • Zola persuaded Erik to help him obtain vibranium by offering to help him seize power in Wakanda and fulfill N'Jobu's wish.
  • Erik showed Zola his necklace, which gave him the right to challenge Wakanda's king, and agreed to enter a global peace summit with Zola's help.
  • Erik doubted Zola could arrange a false identity, so Zola revealed that he was Hydra and showed footage proving his connection to its operations.
  • Zola showed Erik footage of the Helicarrier battle and explained that an unidentified figure had left Hydra too afraid to seek revenge.
  • Zola told Erik he would learn the mysterious figure's identity after becoming king of Wakanda.

Ch. 257The meeting

Erik Killmonger used the royal necklace to publicly challenge T'Chaka, with Zola guiding him through the meeting and arranging a reporter to record the confrontation. T'Chaka accepted the challenge but said it had to take place in Wakanda, and Erik left believing he would become king.

  • Zola warned Erik not to challenge T'Chaka while he was surrounded by leaders and arranged for a reporter to approach him after the meeting.
  • After the meeting, Erik confronted T'Chaka with a necklace he identified as a symbol granting its owner the right to challenge Wakanda's king.
  • Erik declared himself Erik Killmonger and challenged T'Chaka as a royal heir while a reporter filmed them.
  • T'Chaka stopped the guards from seizing Erik and accepted the challenge, stating that it must take place in Wakanda before the Panther Goddess and the Wakandan people.
  • Zola told Erik he would spread news of the challenge, and Erik said he would welcome Zola in Wakanda as its king.

Ch. 258A conversation between father and son

T'Chaka confronted Erik about his claim to Wakanda's throne, and Erik accused him of killing N'Jobu. Back in Wakanda, T'Chaka prepared T'Challa to challenge Erik after his own defeat and asked him not to seek revenge if Erik killed him.

  • T'Chaka accepted Erik's challenge and asked why he had allied with outsiders, but Erik accused him of killing his father, N'Jobu.
  • T'Chaka admitted he had killed N'Jobu, declared that neither he nor Erik should rule Wakanda, and took Erik back to Wakanda.
  • Zola watched the group's spacecraft leave New York and smiled as it moved across his screen.
  • T'Chaka told T'Challa that he expected to lose to Erik, then gave him a royal necklace and instructed him to challenge Erik afterward.
  • T'Chaka confessed to T'Challa that he had killed N'Jobu and asked him not to avenge his death, directing him to Zuri for the full story if he died.

Ch. 259Erik's Winning Streak

T'Challa and Shuri secretly interfered in the King's Challenge to save T'Chaka, allowing Erik to win and become the next king unless another warrior defeated him. After Erik killed the Mining Tribe's champion, T'Challa stepped forward to challenge him.

  • T'Challa told Shuri how they might protect T'Chaka, and she prepared a device to interfere with the fight.
  • Zuri removed T'Chaka's Black Panther's Power, and Erik emerged to challenge him.
  • When Erik knocked T'Chaka down, Shuri used her bracelet to render T'Chaka unconscious, and Zuri declared Erik the winner.
  • Erik realized T'Challa and Shuri had interfered but chose not to expose them, then invited others to challenge him.
  • The Mining Tribe's champion challenged Erik, who killed him with two short spears and frightened the other would-be challengers.
  • T'Challa displayed his royal ring and announced that he would challenge N'Jadaka.

Ch. 260Erik Overwhelms T'Challa

Erik defeated T'Challa in the King's Challenge and was declared the new Black Panther, but T'Challa's last words about T'Chaka killing Erik's father to protect Wakanda left Erik questioning what he had been told. Erik decided to complete his coronation and uncover the truth afterward.

  • Zuri began the King's Challenge, and Erik discovered Shuri's planned intervention before she could use it.
  • Erik taunted T'Challa and controlled the fight, then intensified his assault when T'Challa failed to counterattack.
  • T'Challa briefly countered, but Erik pinned him and nearly killed him before Shuri tried to intervene.
  • Erik used T'Challa as a shield and choked him until T'Challa said T'Chaka had killed Erik's father because he was trying to hurt Wakanda.
  • T'Challa passed out, and Zuri declared Erik the winner; Erik let T'Challa be carried away and decided to finish the coronation before investigating the truth.

Ch. 261Discussing countermeasures

After Erik took the throne, Wakanda's elders assigned him dangerous missions outside the country, while T'Chaka's family planned how to stop his ambitions and reclaim power. The chapter ended with T'Chaka staying behind to speak with Erik as T'Challa, Ramonda, and Shuri set out to seek the Ape Tribe's help.

  • Erik learned that Wakanda's military forces could not be sent on operations abroad, so the Black Panther had to handle the missions himself.
  • Erik chose to go alone in a Black Panther Suit and distrusted Okoye, while the elders and officials remained a source of political constraint.
  • Okoye told W'Kabi that T'Chaka and his family were safe in Shuri's laboratory, and she hoped Luke's influence could restrain Erik and the elders.
  • T'Chaka explained to his family that he had killed N'Jobu and warned that Erik might declare war on the world despite learning the truth.
  • T'Challa proposed that one group persuade Erik while another sought help from the Ape Tribe.
  • T'Chaka decided to remain behind to explain the past to Erik, while T'Challa, Ramonda, and Shuri went to the Ape Tribe.

Ch. 262Bargaining with a tiger

Erik killed a convoy of several hundred men, then sought Hydra agents from Zola in exchange for Vibranium. Back in Wakanda, T'Chaka explained that N'Jobu had tried to shoot Zuri, leaving Erik shaken and heading to the Heart-Shaped Herb garden to question Zuri himself.

  • Erik ambushed and wiped out a convoy, then agreed to trade Zola a hundred kilograms of Vibranium for obedient Hydra agents.
  • Erik returned to Wakanda and went to Shuri's laboratory, where guards told him T'Chaka and the others were still inside.
  • Erik confronted T'Chaka about killing N'Jobu, but guards stopped him from harming Shuri because of her connection to Galacta and Luke, the lord of Earth.
  • T'Chaka said he had meant to bring N'Jobu and Erik back to Wakanda for trial, but N'Jobu drew a gun on Zuri, and T'Chaka accidentally killed him while intervening.
  • Erik recalled the gunshot and, shaken by T'Chaka's account, ran to the Heart-Shaped Herb garden to question Zuri.

Ch. 263Erik's awakening

Erik learned from Zuri and N'Jobu that his father had tried to kill Zuri before T'Chaka killed him, and he abandoned his plan to drag Wakanda into war. He gave Zola thirty kilograms of vibranium and ended their agreement, but Zola secretly used it to replace his outer armor and still intended to get more from Wakanda.

  • Erik demanded the truth about N'Jobu's death, and Zuri confirmed T'Chaka's account and explained why he had concealed it.
  • Erik entered the Ancestral Plane and spoke with N'Jobu, who admitted his role and apologized for taking Erik away from Wakanda.
  • Erik returned from the Ancestral Plane, released T'Chaka and the others from confinement, and decided not to start a war or destabilize Wakanda.
  • Erik met Zola and gave him thirty kilograms of vibranium, then refused to provide more or use Zola's operatives.
  • After Erik left, Zola activated the restaurant patrons, followed him with a dog, and replaced his outer armor with the vibranium.

Ch. 264Disaster loomed over Wakanda

Zola captured Erik, impersonated him, and used his identity and ship to enter Wakanda. After Okoye summoned him to answer for taking Vibranium, she noticed something was wrong inside the ship and went to investigate.

  • Zola’s mechanical spider attacked Erik, and Zola’s robots disabled his bracelet’s signal and captured him.
  • Zola took Erik’s bracelet, transformed it and the ship with his machine-controlling power, and copied Erik’s appearance and identity.
  • Zola imprisoned Erik aboard the ship and used his identity to pass Wakanda’s border checks.
  • Okoye told Zola that the Elder Council wanted an explanation for the thirty kilograms of Vibranium he had taken, then summoned him to the palace landing pad.
  • Zola arrived at the palace and headed toward the council hall, while Okoye noticed that the ship’s interior looked wrong and went inside to inspect it.

Ch. 265Getting ready for a team fight

Zola seized control of Wakanda’s council and turned its ships into a mechanical army, devastating the city. Okoye and Erik headed for Shuri’s lab to stop him, while T’Challa and M’Baku arrived with Ape Tribe reinforcements and sought weapons from the Border Tribe.

  • Zola revealed himself in the council hall, killed the guards, and forced the tribal elders to wear bracelets that could kill them.
  • Okoye escaped Zola’s trap, destroyed the giant robot holding Erik, and learned that Zola had infiltrated Wakanda with Erik’s help.
  • Zola transformed the arriving fighters into mechanical life-forms, then flew to the hangar and used the AllSpark to turn Wakanda’s parked ships into an attacking army.
  • Okoye led Erik toward Shuri’s lab as the transformed ships bombarded the city and Zola carried the elders southwest toward the hangar.
  • T’Challa returned with M’Baku and the Ape Tribe, and M’Baku led the warriors toward the Border Tribe to obtain weapons.

Ch. 266Wakanda's Counterattack

Erik and T'Challa led Wakanda's forces in a counterattack against Zola's Mechanical Legion, while T'Chaka prepared to reclaim the Black Panther mantle. The robots withdrew from the battlefields, then regrouped and flew toward T'Challa's troops.

  • T'Chaka ordered Wakanda's civilians into vibranium safe houses, and Erik joined Shuri and Okoye in the laboratory to assess the battle.
  • Erik left to fight and urged T'Chaka to seek outside help, while T'Chaka prepared to go to the plantation; Zuri arrived with heart-shaped herbs after escaping its destruction.
  • T'Challa rallied M'Baku, W'Kabi, and their troops with a speech, and Shuri directed them toward the fiercest fighting.
  • Erik freed the pinned Wakandan warriors by attacking the robots, but the Mechanical Legion buried him beneath a building.
  • T'Challa's Rhino Cavalry and Ape Tribe reinforcements destroyed dozens of robots, rescued Erik, and forced the survivors to flee.
  • Shuri warned T'Challa that the robots had regrouped and were flying toward his forces.

Ch. 267Reinforcements

Shuri escaped Zola’s takeover of Wakanda’s network and led Okoye through a portal to seek help from the Defenders. As Zola’s fighters devastated Wakanda’s forces, Tony and the Defenders arrived, and their Ultron Legion engaged the enemy above the city while the heroes prepared to confront Zola.

  • Zola contacted Shuri, revealed that a treasure had restored his ability to perceive the world, and tried to recruit her as a mechanical life-form; Shuri realized he had stolen it from Luke.
  • Shuri destroyed the laboratory cameras, escaped with Okoye and Zuri, and used a portal in the Vibranium mining pit to seek help from the Defenders.
  • Zola told T’Challa that he intended to capture Shuri, then ordered a bombardment that killed many Wakandan warriors and destroyed the surrounding buildings.
  • Erik, M’Baku, W’Kabi, and T’Challa survived beneath Vibranium armor as Zola’s robots searched for them, and T’Challa hoped Shuri had found reinforcements.
  • The Ultron Legion emerged from the mining pit and fought Zola’s fighters in the sky while Tony asked Shuri where Zola was hiding.
  • Shuri directed Tony toward Wakanda’s Vibranium storage warehouse, and Captain America, Hawkeye, Natasha, Scarlet Witch, Hulk, Quicksilver, Bucky, and Tony’s Armor Squad joined him.

Ch. 268Tony's Unfinished Experiment, Luke's Little Follower

Zola stole Wakandan vibranium and tried to escape after combining his mechanical forces into a giant robot, but Tony called Megatron for help. Megatron killed Zola and recovered the AllSpark, and Luke decided to return after hearing what had happened.

  • Zola took Wakandan vibranium and threatened the elders, but Tony, Quicksilver, Hulk, Banner, and Scarlet Witch attacked and forced him to flee.
  • Shuri trapped Zola inside Wakanda’s shield, but he combined his ships and mechanical forces into a giant robot and blasted through the shield to escape.
  • Tony pursued Zola toward space and called Megatron, who arrived with mechanical giants and surrounded Zola’s giant robot.
  • Megatron cut Zola apart, retrieved the AllSpark, and took his forces to the moon while Tony returned to Earth.
  • Luke heard Tony’s account, decided to return, and Galacta went to check out of the room.

Ch. 269Inhumans

Luke and Tony discovered that Inhumans lived in a hidden city on the moon, where Megatron’s Starship Giants had been investigating. The Inhuman rulers arrived to ask Luke to spare their city after the giants’ curious pokes nearly overwhelmed its shield.

  • Megatron returned the AllSpark to Luke after recovering it from Zola, and Tony said he no longer needed it for his research.
  • Megatron reported that he had defeated the slaver groups in Alfheim and converted their starships into Transformers stationed on the moon.
  • Megatron showed Luke and Tony footage of a concealed lunar city, and Luke identified its inhabitants as Inhumans created through Kree experiments.
  • Luke reassured Tony that the Inhumans were no match for them, just as several Inhumans teleported in and asked for peace.
  • Medusa explained that the Starship Giants’ pokes had pushed the city’s shield near its limit, and Luke ordered Megatron’s forces to stop touching it.

Ch. 270Tony was no longer the richest man

Luke explained the Inhumans’ origins and social hierarchy to Tony, who realized T’Challa’s vibranium made him richer than Tony and began considering armor to counter Black Bolt. Luke arranged cross-world trade and a Trading Station expansion, while the Inhumans prepared to meet him and argued over whether to abandon their powerless citizens.

  • Luke agreed to meet the Inhumans the next day and explained their history, Terrigen-based powers, and social hierarchy to Tony.
  • Tony learned Black Bolt could unleash destructive energy through his voice and considered building vibranium armor to defend against him.
  • Luke told Megatron to watch the Inhumans from a distance, then informed the Trading Station’s representatives about trade with the Tiga World and an upcoming expansion.
  • Black Bolt learned that one of Luke’s mechanical giants was watching New Attilan and agreed to meet Luke rather than risk provoking him.
  • An Inhuman proposed moving only the powered upper classes, but Maximus objected and refused to help build a new base if the powerless were abandoned.
  • Medusa confirmed that the Inhumans would not abandon anyone and said they would meet Luke the next day.

Ch. 271Two youngsters debate

Luke visited Kamar-Taj and weighed in on Stephen and the Ancient One’s disagreement over whether to reveal the order to world governments. Meanwhile, a mole planted by Zola secretly copied magic books, setting events in motion that would fulfill a vision the Ancient One had seen.

  • Luke collected a large shipment of enchanted weapons from Mordo’s factory, where Tony’s machines had accelerated production.
  • Stephen proposed making Kamar-Taj known to other countries, but the Ancient One warned that outsiders might steal and abuse magic; Luke suggested easing their fears, and they agreed to revisit the problem later.
  • Luke learned that new demon god incursions had increased Kamar-Taj’s workload and that Wong was overwhelmed managing the library’s books and novice sorcerers.
  • Wong questioned a frequent borrower, who had returned his books, then allowed him to borrow more after warning him to master what he studied.
  • The borrower secretly translated the magic books into code and emailed them to Zola, then began studying on his own when no reply arrived.
  • Luke and the Ancient One remained unaware that Zola’s mole was operating inside Kamar-Taj and would trigger events connected to the Ancient One’s vision.

Ch. 272Whether the Inhumans would stay or leave

Luke expanded the Trading Station and met with Black Bolt and the Inhumans to settle their conflict over the moon. Black Bolt proposed that the Inhumans pledge allegiance to Luke so they could remain there and let him use New Attilan as a fleet base.

  • Luke expanded the Trading Station by pouring in dark energy and added ten buildings for future members.
  • Black Bolt arrived at the Trading Station with Medusa and other Inhumans to discuss whether they could stay on the moon.
  • Luke explained that the moon was part of his territory and that he planned to build a base there to dock his growing fleet.
  • Black Bolt offered to return the Inhumans to Earth and described how humans had persecuted them in the past.
  • Black Bolt offered New Attilan as Luke's fleet base and suggested that the Inhumans pledge allegiance to him so they could remain on the moon.

Ch. 273Willing submission

Luke agreed to shelter the Inhumans after Medusa offered their lunar base-building technology to help humanity explore space. He planned to turn the Moon so New Attilan faced Earth, while Maximus went to compile the technology and his thoughts on the bargain remained unclear.

  • Medusa proposed that the Inhumans help humanity establish a lunar transit station and share their technology in exchange for Luke’s protection.
  • Luke accepted the Inhumans’ offer, kept New Attilan for them, and proposed turning the Moon so their city faced Earth.
  • Luke told Black Bolt that the Trading Station would soon connect to a world with more advanced space exploration technology and considered preparing for a possible conflict with the Kree.
  • Black Bolt informed the Inhumans’ senior leaders of the agreement, and they accepted it and began preparing for the Moon’s rotation.
  • Black Bolt asked Maximus to compile New Attilan’s base-building technology for Luke, and Maximus agreed.

Ch. 274Connecting to the Tiga World

Luke opened a portal between the Marvel World and the Tiga World, establishing a trading foothold on the island containing the R'lyeh Ruins. After bringing Director Sawai’s delegation to the Marvel World, Luke heard that Earth faced growing threats from monsters and Sawai asked for a way to help humanity become stronger.

  • Luke raised the R'lyeh Ruins above the sea, flattened the island, and opened a portal there for trade between the worlds.
  • Director Sawai arrived with his delegation and chose a site for the portal, while Daigo sensed something awakening in the ruins.
  • Luke escorted Sawai’s group through the portal to the Marvel World, where they met representatives from other civilizations and toured the Trading Station.
  • Sawai told Luke that Tiga had recently faced two monsters in different locations and that teleporting between them had quickly drained his energy.
  • Sawai showed Luke photographs of intelligent monsters roaming space near the Solar System and asked for a way to make humanity stronger.

Ch. 275The Inhumans Take the Stage

Luke advised Sawai on ways the Tiga World could grow stronger, then revealed that the Inhumans lived on the moon and announced a race to reach their city. The first five nations or factions to arrive would receive the Inhumans’ space base construction technology.

  • Sawai asked Luke how the Tiga World could become stronger, and Luke recommended pursuing technology and building relations with the Dwarves and Asgard.
  • Sawai and the Tiga World representatives traded space exploration technology at the Trading Station and gathered information about its factions.
  • Luke told the representatives that the Kree had experimented on ancient humans, creating a small number of superpowered descendants who became the Inhumans.
  • Luke revealed that the Inhumans lived in a city on the moon and had offered him their space base construction technology.
  • Luke announced a race to the moon, promising the technology to the first five nations or factions to reach the Inhumans’ city.
