The Defense System and the Strange Heat Source

"Stark, long time no see. Is the defense system we commissioned you to design finished?"

Loki took the initiative to greet him, and Tony nodded.

"That's right. We were missing some technology, so designing the defense system took a little longer, but it's finally done."

"No matter. May I see the defense system you designed?"

Tony stepped straight out of his armor, while Friday served as a projector and displayed his design.

Looking at the transformed Asgard in the projection, Loki frowned.

"Will using this system require such extensive renovations to the palace?"

Sensing that Loki was starting to back out, Tony hurried to explain his reasoning.

"Actually, I've always thought your defense system lacked firepower."

Loki frowned at Tony, but Tony's expression remained unchanged. "Since you have such a powerful energy source, one capable of activating the Bifrost, why not make better use of it?"

As he spoke, Tony showed him what his counterattack system looked like when fully deployed.

Watching the palace rapidly transform into a fortress, Loki froze for a moment.

"The palace's energy source can continuously power the Bifrost, which is capable of destroying planets. Its output should be incredibly high, so powering these thousand-plus energy turrets simultaneously should be no problem."
