The Great Thousand World is a vast gathering place for innumerable planes, including countless Lower Planes. Its remaining half is still immense enough to contain major continents, superpowers, and frontier battlefields. 98 99

• Lower Planes — Generally possess weaker energy than the Great Thousand World and may be unable to withstand the presence of even Earthly Sovereigns. Their spatial nodes can be difficult to locate, while ascension passages allow their inhabitants to enter the greater world. 141
• Demonic Domain — The half of the Great Thousand World occupied and corrupted by the Extraterrestrial Evil Clan. Its evil qi and demonic power contaminate spiritual energy, making reclamation and purification difficult. 99 200
• Tianluo Continent — One of the Great Thousand World’s ten great supercontinents. Once ruled by the Ancient Heavenly Palace, it remained divided for tens of thousands of years before Thunder Palace unified it. 154 176 185
• Saint Abyss Continent — A former Lower Plane in the Westernmost Land. It borders the Demonic Domain and contains the Ancient Saint Abyss, a principal battlefield of the ancient war. 200 202
• West Heaven / Luo God Continent — Formerly controlled by the West Heaven War Hall; restored as Luo God Continent following the Western Heaven War Emperor’s death. 198 199
• Commerce Continent — A major trading hub with top-tier auction houses and treasures gathered from across the Great Thousand World. 112
• Spirit Beast World — Home to divine-beast powers including the Nine Netherbird Tribe, Phoenix Clan, Dragon Clan, and Kunpeng Clan. 156 185

The Great Thousand World recognizes ninety-nine ranked Sovereign Dharma Bodies. The five surviving Primordial Immortal Bodies occupy the top five positions and can grant a body comparable to a Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereign after gaining their recognition. 41 116

Extraterrestrial Evil Clan Invasion

The Extraterrestrial Evil Clan has invaded the Great Thousand World since the ancient and primordial eras. The initial catastrophe destroyed or occupied approximately half of the world, leaving innumerable ruined inheritances and claiming countless lives. 47 98 99

The invaders possess several advantages over cultivators of equal realm:

• Their evil energy and demonic power can corrode and contaminate spiritual energy. 98 141
• Slain demons can revive through demonic or human corpses. 98
• Their thirty-two major clans are each ruled by a Demon Emperor; the strongest Demon Emperors are comparable to Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereigns. 47
• The Heavenly Evil God, their leader, was sealed by the Immortal Emperor but has not been completely destroyed. 98 99

The Immortal Emperor sacrificed himself to suppress the Heavenly Evil God, preventing the invaders from fully conquering the world. The result was not a complete victory: the Demonic Domain remains under enemy control, and invasions of isolated Lower Planes continue. 98 99

Current Defense

The Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor are among the major defenders stationed against the Extraterrestrial Evil Clan. Their forces guard the borders, but the world’s size and the number of hidden Lower Planes make comprehensive protection impossible. 98 99

Following the fall of the West Heaven War Hall, Thunder Palace, the Luo God Clan, and the Nine Netherbird Tribe agree to jointly defend the Westernmost Land through Saint Abyss Continent. Their long-term plan is to use the region as a base for reclaiming and purifying the Demonic Domain. 191 200

World Will and Transcendence

The Great Thousand World instinctively rejects beings originating beyond its bounds. Zhao Chen’s Nine-leaf Sword Grass origin causes his breakthroughs to draw exceptional Heavenly Tribulations, though his use of spiritual energy distinguishes him from the Extraterrestrial Evil Clan. 101 134

The world’s will also suppresses the Heavenly Evil God, reducing his ability to remain at peak strength within the Great Thousand World. This suppression is a central reason the ancient defenders could preserve half of the world. 134 137

A cultivator must summon the Firmament List and leave their true name upon it to transcend Saint Grade and enter the Transcendent Saint Stage. No known contemporary expert has achieved this step. 137
