Su Xia wore a long green dress and a red jeweled forehead ornament, seated upright in the seat of honor within the great hall.

A thick black fox-fur shawl draped over her shoulders, while two Silver Armor Guards with vast, enduring auras stood ramrod-straight at her side.

Su Mu stood below, his head slightly lowered as he reported the situation to her.

"So the people Uncle encountered midway should have possessed, at the very least, Silver Grade Cultivation of the Su Family?" As the head of Liao City's foremost lineage, Su Xia remained calm and impassive. She was neither moved by the failed recruitment nor angered by the provocation of those minor forces along the way.

"Correct. From my observations, the young master surnamed Lin, who appeared to be their leader, may have cultivated beyond even the Silver Grade."

Su Mu frowned. "Yet after entering the city, they merely remained in the inn and did not go out, aside from taking a stroll through the nearby streets. I do not know what purpose brought them here."
