"Impressive?" Lin Xin was speechless. He had not expected this youth to be so simple-minded. "Then who was your master? Was he the one who gave you this gold lock?"

He picked up the gold lock from the table.

"My master said I was born wearing this gold lock. I had it naturally from birth," the youth said loudly. "As for who he was, I don't know either. He only took care of me for three years."

"Was your master covered head to toe in bandages?" Lin Xin asked again.

"Yes! He was a strange man." The youth nodded.

Lin Xin immediately understood. This youth was very likely the promise that strange person had spoken of.

"What else did your master say?" he asked again.

The youth froze, seemingly not expecting that question.

He thought for a moment. "My master also said... also said... Right, there was something he always said. Cultivation for longevity, divine powers for battle. Two months ago, he threw me aside and left on his own. Then I came here according to the note he left behind."

Lin Xin frowned slightly. "Cultivation for longevity, divine powers for battle..." He paused, sorting through his thoughts.

"Then did he teach you any skills? You must have some ability to have entered Benevolence Hall."

"He taught me nothing..." At this point, the youth's face immediately fell. "But I was born with abilities!" He raised his head proudly again.

"He taught you nothing, so where did your abilities come from?" Both Lin Xin and Gongsun Li found this strange.

The youth chuckled, glancing around. There was no one nearby.

"When I show you, don't be afraid!"

Lin Xin was taken aback. What sort of ability could make even him afraid?

"Go ahead and show us." He was at a loss
