Background

Ye Tian entered Konoha as a genin while maintaining a highly convincing persona as a terminally ill youth expected to die before adulthood. He graduated from the Academy, received a forehead protector, and was assigned to Team Eleven under Ebisu alongside Tanaka Ichiro and Sato Jisuke. Behind the frailty, he was already a cultivator focused on accumulating spiritual resources rather than becoming an orthodox shinobi. 1 2 3

During Team Eleven’s first D-rank mission, Ye Tian secretly used Divine Sense to locate a century-old Purple Lingzhi while appearing to merely follow the search for Ahu the cat.
