Eight Hundred Years of Mission

Above the ruins of God's Cliff, silent for eight hundred years, blazing crimson lava light cast the pitch-black trench into something like purgatory.

Rain stood coldly atop the super sea monster's massive head, clad in slightly cracked black heavy armor. Within several thousand meters, the Obsidian ley lines resonated madly. Endless heat and Conqueror's Haki black lightning became visible violent arcs, forcibly compressed onto his raised right fist.

"Rest... in peace!"

Rain's voice was as cold as divine judgment. The Core Extreme-Pressure Heavy Punch, powerful enough to reduce the entire deep-sea ruin to airborne dust, came crashing down with supreme domineering intent that could crush all things.

Tuka had somehow broken free from Carina's restraint and lunged at the enormous reinforced viewing window like an out-of-control cheetah. From his once deathly pale pupils flowed two streaks of cloudy liquid mixed with blood and tears. Tuka clutched his chest painfully with both hands and screamed himself hoarse:

"It means no harm! It isn't a World Government monster! It's crying... it has been crying out its grievances across eight hundred years!"

This sudden scream caused Rain's sky-shattering iron fist, already less than half a meter from the beast's forehead, to halt in midair with brutal force.

The terrifying fist wind and residual heat exploded through the water, forcibly vaporizing the remaining dead flesh and seawater above the beast's head into a vacuum. Yet Rain's deep gray vertical pupils merely cast a frigid sidelong glance toward the cabin. The Extreme Pressure gravity that had been crushing down so violently somehow held back without striking.

"Tuka, explain." Rain's voice rumbled out from behind his heavy armor, muffled and cold.
