A Monster from West Blue

A large warship flying the flag of the World Government sailed all the way from West Blue, passed through the ascending current of Reverse Mountain, and successfully returned to the Grand Line. It then proceeded toward Enies Lobby, preparing to pass through the Tarai Current there, and made its way via Navy Headquarters Marineford to land at Red Port beneath Sabaody Archipelago, heading straight for Mary Geoise.

This was a transport ship manned by over a thousand armed personnel. What required the mobilization of such a force was no priceless treasure, nor any high-ranking government figure, but merely a single person...

At the bottom of the hold, a dozen or so consecutive heavy iron doors were pushed open in succession. A Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agent, dressed in a white suit and belonging directly to the Celestial Dragons—hailed as the "Strongest Shield of the Celestial Dragons" and the "Strongest Intelligence Agency in the World"—walked slowly into the innermost room.

"How is that monster doing? Any movement today?"

He was covered from head to toe in bandages, with faint traces of blood still visible on the gauze, and asked the question.

In this room, there were four other Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agents, and their appearances were much like his, bearing clearly severe injuries. Hearing his inquiry, the other four Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agents raised their heads simultaneously, then looked toward a prison cell behind them. The cell was enclosed by double-layered transparent glass, and between the two layers of glass were several rows of iron bars forged from refined steel.

Through the glass, a tall figure could be seen lying inside. That figure was bound by layers of iron chains, tied up and lying on the ground like a rice dumpling, and one end of those iron chains was entirely connected to the hull of the ship, ensuring that the person inside had a range of movement limited to only a few surrounding meters.

This was the cargo escorted by this ship this time: a monster from West Blue who was only fifteen years old yet possessed terrifying strength capable of wiping out a country single-handedly—Tux Oak, hailed as the Terminator of the Battlefield.

Oak kept his eyes tightly closed at the moment, turning a deaf ear to the commotion outside, but deep down he harbored extreme resentment.

At that time, the island where he resided was in a state of war. The five kingdoms on the island engaged in constant mutual conquest in order to unify the entire land. One of the kingdoms extended an olive branch to him, making him, a mere ten-year-old, a general of the kingdom and commanding a troop to participate in combat. On the battlefield, his talent was further amplified.

In every battle he charged at the very front, using his physical body to withstand artillery fire and tear through the enemy's defensive lines. Those cannonballs and various enemy weapons striking him caused not the slightest harm; his entire body was as tough as reinforced steel bars, and his strength was immense, allowing him to flip over opposing military formations numbering in the tens of thousands quite casually, beating enemy troop after enemy troop into collapse with a pair of iron fists. Thus, he also earned the title of the Terminator of the Battlefield, signifying that his mere appearance meant a war was about to come to an end. His reputation began to echo throughout West Blue, and people hailed him as an unadulterated monster. Having campaigned for five years and survived hundreds upon thousands of battles, he had never suffered a single injury.

This situation continued until half a year ago. Under his formidable martial might, the kingdom to which he belonged finally unified the entire island and further expanded its influence to the surrounding regions. Consequently, the king and nobles of the country were moved by other thoughts, wishing to take this opportunity to affiliate with the World Government, become one of the World Government-affiliated Countries, thoroughly consolidate their own regime, and obtain long-term protection.

Originally, all of this had nothing to do with Oak. He had no interest in such matters, nor did he care whether his country joined the World Government or not. He had planned to leave the country in a short while to go out to sea, seeking more thrilling adventures and greater power.

However, he never expected that when his kingdom submitted its application to the upper echelons of the World Government, the government agreed to let them join as one of the World Government-affiliated Countries, but at the same time put forward a demand: their country was not only required to pay the Heavenly Tribute every year, but also had to hand him over to the World Government.

The anesthetic sufficient to tranquilize a large Sea King failed to knock him out on the spot; instead, it allowed him to perceive the truth of his betrayal through the anomalies in his body. Thus, Oak launched an attack on the spot without the slightest hesitation, shattering the entire royal palace with a single punch and burying the nobles, including the king, before fighting his way out toward the exterior of the island.

After routing the hundred thousand troops the king had deployed in advance outside the kingdom, Oak successfully fought his way to the port, intending to seize any random ship to go out to sea and wait out the effects of the anesthetic in his body. Instead, he ran unexpectedly into the World Government agents lying in wait at the port, and was intercepted by five Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agents.

Every single one of these Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agents possessed strength inferior to none of the elite Vice Admirals of Navy Headquarters. Although Oak in his prime did not fear them, the anesthetic in his body severely crippled his combat effectiveness. By the time he had fought his way to the port, his strength was down to less than ten percent, and he ultimately fell beneath the feet of these Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agents, truly making a complete and utter mess of tumbling in the gutter.
