From Oak's earlier questions, Tsuru had picked up on something: Oak hadn't come to this Sky Island ten thousand meters above the ground merely to sightsee. He had come with a clear purpose, seemingly searching for something, though his information about it was still vague.

That thing had to be very important to him!

Tsuru looked at Oak, certainty in her eyes.

She did not ask further. She knew that even if she did, Oak would not tell her. Besides, she would be staying with him from now on. Sooner or later, she would learn why he had come to Sky Island.

"Where are we going next?"

Having sorted that out, Tsuru looked at Oak. However, he grabbed her hand, pulled her close, and whispered into her ear,

"Let's eat first. I've never eaten ten thousand meters up in the sky before!"

Oak's tone was exceedingly suggestive, and he deliberately stressed the word "eat." Tsuru instantly understood what he meant, and her ears turned crimson.

"Bastard!"

Amid Tsuru's furious cursing, Oak dragged her into an inn. They did not emerge again until three days later.

"The flavor really is different!"

Looking at Tsuru, who seemed eager to bite him to death, Oak stretched lazily. As it turned out, changing the setting really could make certain things feel entirely different.

"Get lost!"

Tsuru glared at him, looking as though she wanted to devour him. Yet there was little force behind her stare; instead, a faint mist lingered in her eyes.

After being tormented by Oak for three days, she had no energy left.

And besides...

Tsuru was somewhat worried. This bastard ravaged her like an animal every day, and most of the time, he did not take any precautions. She was truly afraid someone might end up dead.

Oak, however, was
