On the arena, the child Urouge knocked down another opponent with a single punch.

"Shihahahaha, all of this is mine!"

Jumping down from the arena, he swept a pile of things into his arms, his face brimming with a bright smile. These were his prizes for winning today. Among them, Oak clearly spotted several bottles of liquor.

"Looks like he had been a troublemaker since childhood!"

Watching the young Urouge crack open a bottle and gulp down the liquor, Oak twitched his lips. Judging by Urouge's bald appearance, he should have been a monk, yet he broke the precepts so openly. No wonder the pirate crew he founded in the future would be called the Mad Monk Pirates. This monk had been breaking the precepts since he was little!

Without going up to disturb him, Oak simply watched quietly. Once Urouge left the arena and walked out of the black market, Oak silently followed him.

Tsuru looked at him in confusion, utterly unable to understand what he was up to. Oak did not explain. He followed Urouge all the way to the outside of a temple, where he saw Urouge hide all the things he had won in a corner outside the temple.

The ground of this island was entirely made of snow-white island clouds. The corner where Urouge hid his things was an island cloud hollowed out from underneath. After moving the cloud aside, there was a cellar below it.

After Urouge left, Oak emerged from the shadows, opened the cellar, and began sorting through the items inside.

Tsuru understood his actions less and less.
