The Golden City, Gran Tesoro, was a colossal golden ship more than ten thousand meters long. A city built on its deck rivaled an entire country in scale. Pulled by two island turtles, it could sail anywhere, even across the Calm Belt. It had no fixed location and drifted across the seas year-round.
Now the city was sailing through the New World. In a room at the top of its tallest building, the city's master stood respectfully behind a sofa.
