Morning at Home

After settling Blaziken and the others, Xinhai carried Eevee and returned to his bedroom with Gardevoir and Sandile.

He carefully placed Feebas's water basin on the bedside table.

"Sandile, how about you sleep here tonight?" Xinhai placed the soft little nest on the cushioned chair in front of the desk. It was just the right size.

"Hei-oh!" Sandile obediently nodded, its short tail swaying lightly as it climbed into the nest on the chair. After testing it out, it let out a satisfied little hum.

Then Xinhai looked at Eevee, who had already impatiently jumped onto the bed and was kneading the soft little cushion, as well as Gardevoir, who stood quietly beside the bed with gentle eyes. Smiling, he said, "As for you two, you can sleep on the bed with me tonight."

"Vee! (◕ᴗ◕✿)" (I love sleeping with Xinhai!) Eevee immediately spun around happily on the bed before curling up in place.

"Gardevoir~" (Mm.) Gardevoir was also delighted to hear that. She lightly walked to the bedside and sat down.

Once everyone was settled, Xinhai took them to wash up before beginning their bedtime massages.

Sitting by the bed, Xinhai skillfully kneaded Eevee's tiny body, easing the fatigue from a day of playing and riding in the car. Then he massaged Gardevoir's temples and neck, helping her relax mentally. Next came Sandile...

Even for Blaziken, Mightyena, and Zigzagoon, who were staying next door, he went over and helped each of them relax in turn.

While Xinhai gave them his thoughtful massages, his mother, Nami, came in carrying a platter of sliced Berries. Seeing her son carefully looking after every one of his companions, a gratified smile appeared on her face.

"Xinhai, have some fruit after dinner." She placed the fruit platter on the table and spoke gently.
