Fallarbor Town was still shrouded in a thin veil of mist in the early morning, the air filled with the damp Qi of grass and trees.
Xinhai unfolded his folding bicycle and adjusted the chain and tire pressure. He had specially installed a wider, sturdier seat on the back and wrapped it in soft velvet.
"Gardevoir, this will be more comfortable to sit on." Xinhai patted the rear seat and spoke to Gardevoir.

Gardevoir gracefully sat sideways on the rear seat, its green hair drifting gently in the morning breeze.

The wheels began to turn as they rode along the main road on the western side of Fallarbor Town, heading toward the morning forest.
