Fortree City's stone-paved roads were laid remarkably flat, while the signs of shops on either side swayed gently in the breeze.
Outside a Berry shop, the owner was watering the potted plants on display with a watering can. The restaurant beside it wafted the aroma of food, mingling with the fresh scents of wood and vegetation.
The sound of "thump, thump" footsteps came from overhead—someone was crossing a wooden bridge. The bridge swayed slightly, but the person walked steadily, clearly long accustomed to this way of getting around.
