At the core of that light, a tiny figure lay curled up, sleeping within a crystalline emerald-green cocoon of energy.

Its small, fairy-like body was curled into a ball, its tiny hands folded over its chest, its breathing long and steady.
With every breath, the emerald glow around its body trembled faintly, like ripples spreading across water.
The pale green scales on its upper body glimmered softly in the light, while the Grass type portion of its lower body resembled fresh young leaves, brimming with vitality.
Its tiny wings were folded behind its back, their edges faintly rimmed with gold beneath the glow of the energy cocoon.
The green antenna on its forehead, tipped with blue, trembled slightly. Its little hands clasped over its chest unconsciously tightened.
Its eyes were shut tight, and the distinctive black markings around them seemed especially deep at this moment.
As deathly energy eroded this land like a rising tide, the sleeping Celebi sensed the danger as well. Yet it merely frowned slightly and did not awaken.
