Another Dimension—Origin of Creation

This was a space without boundaries, dimensions, or even a concept of time.

It existed apart from the Pokémon world, apart from the Distortion World, and even apart from every dimension maintained by the twin gods of time and space.

If the Pokémon world was a pearl floating in the void, and the Distortion World was the shadow cast by that pearl, then this extraordinary space was the light source itself—the beginning of all things, the point from which everything had been born.

This extraordinary space took the form of a perfect sphere, its diameter impossible to measure. No boundary of matter or energy existed at its edges—it was infinitely vast, yet infinitely small.

There was no sky within it, no ground, no distinction between up, down, left, or right.

There was no gravity, no Qi, no light—at least, not the kind of light humans understood.

There was only energy here.

Energy so pure it was nearly primordial.

Boundless golden vortices of energy, like flowing nebulae, slowly and solemnly revolved within this other-dimensional space.

Those golden currents moved with extreme slowness—so slowly that each complete revolution had to be measured in years.

With every turn, they stirred the tides of countless lower realms of time and space, like the moon's gravity drawing the oceans, like the sun's magnetic field disturbing the planets.

And at the very center of those golden energy vortices, a white figure slept.
