Lilycove City's port was the largest passenger port in eastern Hoenn. Massive breakwaters stretched out into the sea, enclosing a broad expanse of water to form a natural harbor.
All kinds of vessels were docked in the harbor—weathered fishing boats, modern speedboats, and several medium-sized cargo ships.
Yet the most eye-catching of them all was undoubtedly the Sea Emperor, docked at the far end.
It was a massive white cruise ship over three hundred meters long, with eighteen decks, its surface gleaming softly in the Morning Sun.
Its streamlined design made it look both elegant and powerful, like a white whale about to plunge into the sea.
The words "Sea Emperor" were embossed in gold on both sides of the bow, sparkling brightly beneath the sunlight.
The pier bustled with people: tourists dragging suitcases, friends and relatives seeing loved ones off, and staff in white uniforms busily guiding passengers aboard.
"Eevee!"
Perched on Xinhai's shoulder, Eevee stared at the enormous white cruise ship with wide brown eyes. Its fluffy tail wagged happily behind it as it let out an awed cry.
With the Spatial Backpack on his back, Xinhai took out his Pokédex, pulled up his electronic ticket, and headed toward the boarding gate with his partners.
Xinhai stood behind a family of three. After waiting for several minutes, it was finally his turn.
"Sir, please show me your ticket," a young female crew member said with a smile.
Xinhai took his Pokédex from his pocket, lit up the screen, and brought up the QR code for his electronic ticket.
The crew member gave it a light scan with the scanner in her hand. Xinhai's booking information immediately appeared on the screen—luxury suite, passenger name: Xinhai Bai Mu.
