The enraged Kabutops threw back its head and let out a piercing shriek.

"Ka-boo—!!"

That was no ordinary Growl, but a sound wave capable of piercing through water and rock, spreading in every direction.

Wherever the sound passed, the water's surface exploded and rubble came pattering down. The Kabuto still fleeing stiffened; some fell straight from the water's surface, while others stood frozen in place, their bodies trembling.

It was the undisguised pressure of a Kabutops standing at the pinnacle of the Elite level.

The surrounding Kabutops lowered their heads one after another, retracting their scythes and assuming submissive postures.

The enormous Kabutops paid no attention to their submission.

Its dark crimson eyes swept across its surroundings—the shattered crystal clusters, the muddy water, the rocks constantly falling from the dome, and the increasingly frequent tremors coming from afar.

Kabutops gave a short, low cry. The sound was soft, yet carried an unquestionable command.

Then, its body began to move.

Its massive body swam through the water without raising a single splash, as though the current itself had submitted to it and automatically parted to clear its path.

Its scythes folded against its sides, their blades facing backward like two sheathed war blades.

The surrounding Kabutops immediately followed. More than a dozen formed a single column behind the giant Kabutops.

They followed the current, rapidly drawing closer to the source of the tremors.

The river water rushed backward around them. Shattered crystal clusters, murky silt, falling rocks—everything sped away behind them.

Deep within Mt. Moon, within a vast underground space supported by countless thick stone pillars.

This underground space contained nothing but densely packed stone pillars. Each one required several people to encircle it, like the skeleton supporting all of Mt. Moon.
