For the next two days, Xinhai took his partners on leisurely strolls around Azure Wave Island.
In the afternoon, Xinhai visited the island's underwater scenic area and spent half the day snorkeling in the shallow waters.
Through the crystal-clear water, he could see vast stretches of well-preserved coral reefs. Colorful little fish darted between the rocks, several Staryu clung to the stone, and every now and then, a Sunflora poked its head out from the coral.
Eevee used Confusion to hold a little bubble around its head. Its big brown eyes curiously watched the underwater world, its tail swaying gently in the water.
That afternoon, they went to the island market and browsed the local handicraft stalls.
Xinhai bought several pendants polished from coral and seashells, planning to give them to Xiao Luo, his dad, and the others later.
He also stopped at an old bookstall and picked up several old books about the geography and legends of the Hoenn Region. Their yellowed pages gave off a faint scent of paper and ink.
The next morning, they followed a hiking route along the coastline, passed through a coastal grove full of palm trees, and saw the entirety of Azure Wave Island from a high point.
Azure waters surrounded the green island, white houses were scattered throughout, several fishing boats moved in and out of the docks, and Wingull occasionally skimmed across the sea.
That afternoon, Xinhai packed up all his luggage and prepared to leave.
On the third day at breakfast, the sun had just risen over the horizon, dyeing the entire sea a warm golden red.
The sea breeze drifted softly by, carrying the fresh, faintly cool air unique to the early morning.
On the beach, Xinhai inflated the dinghy again and set it steadily afloat on the water.
