At the trainer's command, Blaziken slammed both palms against the slick moss-covered ground. Power surged through its waist and abdomen, and its entire body sprang forward like a released coil, crashing viciously into the underside of Blastoise's shell.
High Jump Kick landed squarely on Blastoise's plastron with a dull, thunderous boom.

Blastoise's massive body was launched upward by the blow, flipping once through the air with its shell facing downward. Its limbs and head remained tucked inside, like a huge boulder sent flying in a heavy arc.
Having kicked Blastoise away, Blaziken relied on the body control it had developed through repeated balance training, along with the support of Flying type energy, to turn lightly in midair and land steadily back in the shallows.
Yet the instant Blaziken touched down, Wallace's command came as if he had foreseen it, calm and certain: "Blastoise, Water Tornado!"
Hearing the order while spinning through the air, Blastoise did not hesitate. Its entire shell began rotating rapidly.
Deep-blue Water type energy surged from within its shell, bursting outward through its limbs and cannons as it swiftly merged with the surrounding mist.
At the same time, the water below seemed to be drawn by an invisible force and began churning violently.
A thick Water Tornado rose from the surface like a giant hand reaching up from the abyss, sweeping toward the newly landed Blaziken with icy currents and spraying water.
"Get out of the way! Blaziken!"
Xinhai's voice exploded across the field with an urgent warning.
Seeing the change, Blaziken kicked off hard from the mud and launched itself to the right.
Milky-white Quick Attack energy flashed across its body, driving its speed to the limit in an instant.
The Water Tornado howled past the spot where it had been standing, slamming into the
