The glass doors were automatic. Sensing someone approaching, they silently slid open to either side.
The moment Xinhai stepped into the lobby, he saw Scott leaning against the reception desk, chatting with a young woman with a single ponytail seated behind it.
Scott wore a slightly rumpled light-blue shirt, its sleeves casually rolled up to his forearms, exposing his chubby arms.
His hair was somewhat tousled, giving him an overall flashy, showy air.
Hearing the doors open, Scott turned around. His eyes immediately lit up, and he strode over. "Xinhai! You finally made it!"
Xinhai smiled and held out his hand to shake his. "Long time no see, Scott."
"It has been a while." Scott gave his hand a firm shake, then patted him on the shoulder and looked him over. "How was it? Did everything go smoothly while you were collecting Badges?"
"Not bad. It went pretty smoothly." Xinhai smiled.
"That's good. Let me introduce you." Scott smiled, then turned and beckoned to the ponytailed girl at the reception desk. "This is Wenwen, our company's receptionist. She handles the day-to-day reception work."
Wenwen stood from behind the desk, gave Xinhai a slight bow, and smiled gracefully. "Hello. You're the owner of Spark, aren't you?"
"Just call me Xinhai." Xinhai nodded with a smile. "Thanks for all your hard work. I'll have to trouble you with the company matters from now on."
"It's my duty." Wenwen replied with a smile.
Scott then said to Wenwen, "Sorry for the trouble here. We'll head upstairs first!" Then he turned and held out a hand to Xinhai. "Come on, I'll show you around upstairs."
