The Considerate Yamato

Inside Onigashima's skull-shaped castle, third floor, third room from the left.

Steam from the indoor hot spring filled the entire room, blurring the savage stone carvings on the rock walls.

In the hot spring, one large and one small figure soaked in the slightly scalding water. The larger one was seductively beautiful and overflowing with charm. Her wet golden hair spread across the water like seaweed, her skin was whiter than snow, and a pair of long red horns flickered in and out of view through the mist.

The smaller one also had a pair of red horns. Her long hair faded from white at the roots to green, then blue at the tips, cascading to her waist like a waterfall. Her skin was as delicate as the finest mutton-fat jade, and her exquisite features carried a heroic air.

Yamato lay against the edge of the pool, looking up at Black Maria's stunning figure, so utterly mismatched with her age. Then she lowered her head to look at herself and could not help pouting.

"Why are you developing so much better than me? I work hard every day too."

Both women carried part of the Ancient Giant Tribe's bloodline, but Black Maria's bloodline had clearly reverted more strongly to its ancestors.

She was only one year older than Yamato, yet she stood fully twice as tall.

Before the six-meter-tall Black Maria, the not-yet-three-meter Yamato looked like a little girl who had not hit her growth spurt.

"Don't rush. You'll grow up someday."

Amused by her expression, Black Maria covered her lips with one hand.

"More importantly, I think you should consider how you're going to face your sweetheart later.

Didn't you say you'd already sensed his Haki?"

"How else would I face him? You told me men are all perverts..."
