Observation Haki

Observation Haki detects presences, hostile intent, and incoming danger. Lucas uses it to sense an intruder inside his shack, while Issho detects an approaching hostile fleet through the malice of its members 1 96.

• Can anticipate an attack’s direction and intensity fractions of a second before it lands 41.
• Enables users to locate targets that would otherwise be difficult to find, such as Lucas locating trapped women beneath ice 51.
• May be countered by Observation Killing, which conceals a user’s presence from Observation Haki; Shanks uses this against Lucas 197.

Armament Haki

Armament Haki forms defensive armor around the body or weapons and allows attacks to contend with Devil Fruit abilities. It can be hardened externally, flowed internally, or projected outward as force 1 48 147.
