"I think I've heard of this ability somewhere before."
Brook pressed her back tightly against the iceberg, the rough ice surface sending a needle-like chill through her clothes.
"But what are the activation conditions? I haven't even seen where the enemy is."
Still unable to use Observation Haki, she found this kind of opponent extremely troublesome.
Could it be line of sight?
The thought struck a match in her mind, flaring to life with a hiss.
Earlier, out on the open glacial plain, attacks had come one after another. Now that she was hiding in the massive shadow cast by the iceberg, the enemy had not attacked immediately.
"To be safe, I need to confirm it."
After adjusting herself to the best condition she could currently recover to, she raised her battle axe and cautiously stepped out of the iceberg's shadow.
Almost the instant she appeared, pale arms sprouted all over her body.
Prepared in advance, Brook punched herself before those arms could fully reach her joints.
The shockwave spread in a transparent ripple across her body. The newly sprouted human arms trembled violently in the shockwave before turning into petals and scattering away.
Robin, hidden within a crevice in some iceberg, let out a muffled groan.
Her back was pressed against the ice, one hand covering her mouth as a streak of dark-red blood seeped between her fingers.
The Flower-Flower Fruit had the weakness of shared sensation. Every arm she grew was part of her body, and every attack it suffered transmitted the pain back to her original body without distortion.
Normally, she would proactively dismiss her ability before an enemy's attack landed, or dismiss it the instant she felt pain. Only then could she minimize the feedback damage.
That last blow had caught her completely off guard. Brook's Hasshoken had traveled directly through limbs Robin had not had time to react with.
This martial art, Hasshoken, could release spreading shockwaves through physical contact. Such shockwaves could penetrate the skin and strike the internal organs directly.
Back in the shadows once more, Brook leaned against a protruding icicle. After the earlier test, she had completely confirmed her previous suspicion.
This ability user relied on line of sight to lock onto her target.
Where she could not see, her ability could not activate.
Having confirmed that, Brook felt the stone crushing her chest finally loosen somewhat.
"Always hiding... your real body must be weak, then."
A cruel smile curled Brook's lips as her fingers rubbed the rough handle of her battle axe.
For ability users who attacked from afar, their real body was often their greatest weakness.
Arms suddenly sprouted all over her body again, interrupting the tactical arrangements in her mind.
"Impossible, I clearly..."
Brook went pale with fright. She instinctively looked around and saw a blurry shadow reflected on the wall of an iceberg ahead.
She abruptly looked up. High above, a young woman in a dark fitted dress floated in the air. The hem of her skirt fluttered gently in the high-altitude wind. Aside from her head and arms, every other part of her body was tightly wrapped in dark fabric. Wings formed from hundreds of arms kept her steadily suspended above the ice field.
Robin knew full well that with her current physical strength, taking one or two more Hasshoken shockwaves would leave her completely unable to fight.
A quick battle was the best choice right now.
She had the optimized Lineage Factor to thank for the tremendous increase in stamina. Otherwise, with her usual calm, almost overly conservative personality, she would never have chosen such an aggressive tactic.
Brook erupted with Haki once more, blasting away the dense mass of arms covering her body. She kicked off the ground and shot toward the only exit like a cannonball leaving its barrel.
The terrain here was too cramped, with icebergs on both sides. It was unfavorable for her to fight. As long as she could rush into open ground, she would have room to counterattack.
"[Cien Fleur: Tree]"
Two enormous arms, each comparable in size to an adult female Giant Tribe member, suddenly grew from the ice ahead of the exit and slammed down toward Brook's head.
"[Cien Fleur: Gentian]"
At almost the same time, hundreds of arms appeared on Brook's body, forcibly twisting her entire body starting from her upper half.
Armament Haki surged out of Brook's body like a burst dam, washing away the hundreds of arms layer by layer. She gathered all her remaining Haki over her body's surface, forming a heavy suit of armor. The situation was so dire that she could no longer afford to calculate the expenditure.
The two giant palms thunderously closed in from both sides, clapping against the Haki armor over her body.
The impact penetrated the armor and sent her staggering. Before she could catch her breath, the next wave of attacks had already arrived.
The giant palms rose again and slammed down again, while new arms continuously sprouted from every part of her body.
Robin gave her no chance to breathe. Her assault came like a raging storm, and the Armament Haki covering Brook's body visibly grew thinner.
The instant the last trace of Armament Haki in her body was depleted, a string of cracking bones sounded from within Brook.
Her body, more robust than that of most men, fell backward with intense unwillingness.
After defeating her enemy, Robin landed on the ground drenched in fragrant sweat. Her hundred-arm wings turned into petals and drifted away just before she touched down. She staggered a step and reached out to brace herself against the wall of an iceberg.
She leaned against the iceberg without a shred of dignity, bent over and gasping heavily breath after breath.
Sweat dripped from her chin, splashing into tiny rings of dampness on the ice.
Her dark dress, soaked through with sweat, clung tightly to her body, outlining curves usually concealed beneath her loose clothing.

(PS: If someone without Haki beats a Haki user without even getting red-faced or out of breath, then that cheat would be way too overpowered.
As for Robin's clothing, I've mentioned it in my other books. In my view, if a transmigrator went to the One Piece world and got the beauties of that world, yet still let them dress like they did in the original, he'd probably have a cuckold fetish.
The outfits Oda designs for female characters don't merely count as revealing anymore. You could say they're not wearing anything at all. Though he himself never denied that particular unique fetish in the SBS.)
