After Robin left, Odin turned his gaze to Yake.
"My child, the Aether you seek is rather troublesome. After defeating the Dark Elves, I had intended to destroy it once and for all, but it simply could not be destroyed. I had no choice but to keep it. After I gave up collecting the Infinity Stones, I placed it somewhere in an unknown space on Earth."
"If you want it, you may have to wait a while. I've already sent someone to retrieve it."
Since Odin had put it that way, Yake truly had nothing more to say. He could use the opportunity to spend a few days in Asgard while waiting for Robin to return.
"Then I'll have to trouble you for the next few days, Your Majesty Odin."
"As an honored guest of Asgard, you shall receive the warmest hospitality. Come, join us in the feast!"
The so-called feast was a celebration welcoming Thor home. The Asgardian warriors were busy boasting, claiming they had beaten the Destroyer senseless when it had actually thrashed them. Naturally, Yake did not expose them. He simply enjoyed the feast with two beautiful women from the divine realm in his arms.
Thor had grown rather depressed. Not only was his brother gone, but he could no longer return to Earth either. What would happen to Jane? He missed her, and Loki as well.
Yake knew Loki was not dead, but he would not tell Thor. Even Odin knew Loki had survived, though he had not said so outright. Only Thor genuinely believed Loki had died again. Wait, why did he say again?
The next day, Yake woke up in a soft, luxurious bed, with two naked women lying beside him.
Yake shot upright in bed and recalled what had happened the previous night.
