Zoro narrowed his eyes at the people before him.
A smile tugged at his lips.
"All I did was hand your vice-captain over to the Marines. Is that really worth getting so angry about?"
Zoro looked at the Pirates as though they weren't worth his concern.
As a bounty hunter, killing Pirates was simply a way to make money.
When they had nearly surrounded him, Zoro curled his lip in disdain.
The pirate captain turned to the other diners. "Anyone eating here, get out! If we accidentally kill you, don't blame us!"
At his words, everyone leaped from their seats.
They rushed madly for the exit.
Only the restaurant owner remained, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
His heart sank.
"Could you take this outside? Please! This is only a small place. It can't withstand a fight between you!"
Seeing the owner plead with him gave the pirate captain an immense sense of satisfaction.
But satisfaction was one thing.
The pirate captain said to the owner, "You think that's going to happen? I told you, anyone who stays here dies!"
As the pirate captain spoke,
a great mass of ink surged from his body!
The black ink was a terrifying sight.
The owner dropped to his knees as the ink wrapped around his entire face.
Zoro's pupils contracted. He didn't know why the man before him could turn into ink,
but he didn't hesitate. He drew his blade at once.
He cut through the ink.
It splashed across the floor,
staining it black.
Zoro had freed the owner from the ink,
but the pirate captain's arm immediately grew back.
He looked as though he hadn't been hurt at all.
"Cough, cough, cough!"
The owner clutched his throat with both hands.
For the first time, he understood how wonderful it was
