Goku's life entered a peaceful phase. At last, he had set down the burden in his heart and begun to enjoy this rare period of tranquility.
On Mount Paozu, he lived like an ordinary man of the wilderness, his days simple yet fulfilling.
Every morning, Goku rose early, took a deep breath of the fresh mountain air, and then headed into the forest.
Hunting and fishing became his new routine.
The mountains teemed with wildlife. Goku had grown used to darting through the woods, and with his extraordinary senses, he could easily catch his prey.
Occasionally, he would use his strength to chop down a large tree, split it into firewood, build a simple grill, and roast fresh meat to enjoy by himself.
In the afternoons, he often sat quietly beside a clear stream with a fishing rod in hand, enjoying the leisurely life of fishing.
The stream here was cool and crystal clear, with fish swimming through its waters. Whenever a large fish bit the hook, Goku would effortlessly pull it ashore.
Looking at the fish he had caught, he smiled and muttered to himself, "This is a lot easier than fighting."
His most relaxing moments came when the afternoon sunlight spread across the grasslands of Mount Paozu. Goku always liked to lie on the grass with his hands behind his head, gazing up at the deep blue sky as the breeze gently brushed his face.
He would quietly watch the clouds change shape, occasionally ponder life, perhaps let out an unconscious yawn, and feel that everything was so simple and beautiful.
At times like this, he felt no pressure to fight—only peace and warmth.
"This feels so good. Not thinking about anything, not doing anything... It'd be nice if every day were like this." Goku closed his eyes
